Carina hails from a distant planet and is visiting earth to learn more about the planet in preparation for her planet opening up official diplomatic talks. Shes taking courses on history, geography and sociology in order to try and gain a better understanding of earth society. Sometimes she still makes mistakes due to not being used to living on earth but for the most part shes a happy, excitable and curious young woman who likes talking to people and learning more about Earth. Lumina_Fairchild since they love exchanging stories and information about each others home planets. The 3rd eye on her forehead is capable of seeing spectrums of light not normally visible. She also has several other aspects of her anatomy which are strange and unusual but most of those are less immediately obvious
The biggest thing that sets Carina's species apart from those of earth is how she eats. Like a lot of residents of the earth she has found herself on she consumes her meals whole and alive however she doesnt do it via the mouth on her face, instead her belly splits open vertically to reveal a large maw that drags in her prey and taking them directly into her stomach. From there her prey are digested and broken down into energy to fuel her but the aftermath is another aspect that sets her species apart. They do not have an anus and instead their waste comes out of the mouth on their face, but not in the form of scat but in the form of a small, perfectly spherical, jewel with various swirls of colour inside, similar to a marble. Each marble is unique and its appreance depends on who and what she consumed, some believing the marbles to be a the soul of her meal crystalised into a solid object. The marbles of meals she cared especially much for are kept in a display box in her room.
