Candace

Candace doesn't look particularly special; just another young-ish human girl. Sure, she's a pretty one, with messy, light brown hair, lovely brown eyes, and a rather gifted figure which she's more than happy to show off, but she's still normal...right?

"Hmn....Y'know, you COULD be just a bit sweeter..."

In reality, Candace is a witch. The latest in a long line of them, in fact, stretching back centuries...You may even have heard of one of them, if you read 'fairy tales'.

Yes, Candace is a descendant of the witch from Hansel and Gretel, the one with the gingerbread house. Her family has mastered a very specific form of magic, one focusing on food, and sweet things in particular; candies, cakes, cookies and such. And Candace is no exception!

Candace is a bit non-traditional, though; she doesn't live in the middle of the woods, for example, nor does she LOOK like the typical witch. She's certainly not an ugly old hag, and she's rather friendly, even when she's no longer hiding her predatory intentions. She also does her best to make sure her prey enjoy their fate to some extent.

What she DOES have in common with her less-pleasant ancestors is a taste for humans...children and younger teens in particular, although she's more than happy to consume older teens and adults. She also simply loves fattening up her prey if she can get away with it!

Candace lives in, and operates, a sweets shop and bakery called 'The Gingerbread House'; her living quarters are above the bakery, but there's also a rather substantial basement that houses her more...specialized cooking equipment, as well as a few other amenities.

She's also been known to get into the festive spirit (Art a gift from the artist of both this and the profile image, Sheela) Favorite Spells-

Summon sweets: "Hey, have somethin' sweet, on the house~"
She can conjure up various sweets at will; they're tasty, but her actual baking is much tastier.
-Magic candy: A sub-category of summoned sweets. These are candies, often lollipops, with special, magical effects that range from relaxing the prey and making them more open to suggestion to temporary mind control.

Sweet transformation: "Oh, aren't you just the sweetest thing?"
She can use her magic to turn her unfortunate targets into various sweet things, often (but not always) keeping their humanoid form in some way. Victims are, however, still able to feel themselves being consumed, although any pain is replaced by pleasure.

Gingerbread Golem: "What's an eeeeevil witch without minions~?" She can create humanoid guards out of gingerbread. At their most basic level, they're mostly only good for capturing prey or guarding doors, but more advanced golems can act as living 'prisons'. She can also use a soul in the creation of the golem, thereby 'reforming' her prey in a delicious gingerbread copy of their original body.
