Typical Appearance-
Calidus is most often seen in his guise of a handsome male with a mane of white, unkempt hair that falls nearly to his shoulders. Of an indeterminate age, somewhere between twenty and thirty, he looks to be in excellent physical shape, with broad shoulders and a toned, well-kept physique that hints at a past as a runner, or perhaps a swimmer.
Clad, usually, in a dark red jacket, with no shirt beneath, and a hood that is rarely ever raised, along with a pair of well-fitting jeans, and nicely maintained sneakers, he's no real fashion expert, although what he does wear he pulls of with style.
Possessed of a somewhat crooked, roguishly charming grin, glittering leaf-green eyes, and a strong, attractive face, Calidus has had many a poem composed to him my more ardor-stricken admirers. His otherwise perfect features are marred, however, by a massive scar that stretches from his forehead, down across his right eye, and nearly to the corner of his cheek. This serves to make him look dangerous, and to some is merely an enhancement to his charms, rather than a deterrent.
Everything Else
Blessed from the days of his birth as a god with a propensity to wander, he is considered, by some of his brethren in the immortal circles to be a vagabond. He lacks the immortal manse of other deities, and indeed, possesses no particular realm of his own that he lays claim to. Lovers and poets pray to him, and his priests are as itinerant as he is, tending to travel from town to town, doing odd jobs and spreading his word. Most are male, and the vast majority of those are bards or musicians of some kind, singing, playing instruments or telling stories or epic love poems.
But, behind this warm facade, which even Calidus himself evinces, there's a darker aspect to him. He's not just the god of passionate love and romance, but the god of all passions. Anger, obsession, rage and joy all fall under his purview. Most of his followers have tempers, and, if pushed, can fall into dark rages. Some are dangerously fascinated with women, or with art, or have another obsession which consumes much of their time.
And, his final aspect, that of the Stormbringer, is perhaps his most feared. When his followers and priests are disturbed and angered, storms tend to follow not too far behind. There's even rumors of some of his more powerful priests being able to summon lightning from a clear sky!
Calidus often disguises himself as his own priest, and travels the world, enjoying mortal life, romancing beautiful women (and sometimes men!), and generally relishing his role. He sometimes stops somewhere to inspire a particularly talented poet or musician, be they male or female, and is known to take on guises other than his typical one, especially for purposes of bringing out the essence of someone's muse in himself.. or, herself, if the need arises.
His abilities are typically limited to his 'domains', namely, things related to those things he embodies. But, he does possess some general strengths that most deities possess, which serve to make his life easier. What the limits of his powers are, he's a bit reluctant to say. He might be weaker than he lets on, or a good deal more powerful. But, regardless, he's quite happy with how he's perceived, for the most part.
Vore and More
As one might imagine, being a god of passion, there's a number of odder talents that he possesses beyond simple scope of godly powers.
The term 'all-consuming passion' originated from the legendary hunger of the lord of passion. If he's excited enough, or if he can excite his victim, regardless of emotional state, be it angry, happy, aroused or frightened, he can consume them, using their emotions and consciousness to power himself. Their body is usually consumed in the process, but this is more a side-effect than the purpose of his eating.
In addition to eating, he's capable of stretching his member to incredible sizes, and, in many cases, is able to consume people far beyond what most would assume him able to.
His upper limits are untested, but it is safe to say they're funtionally infinite, thanks to his status as a deity.
