NEIGH!


The air is stale, smelling vaguely like bleach. Trinkets and novelties everywhere, cluttering the metal shelves, practically overflowing over. Paintings hang from the walls, guns locked in special cases behind the counter, jewelry in their own display boxes. None of this matters, as two red eyes gaze upon one very special trinket. It's as if God himself has ordered Calcine to come here, as the setting sun casts its holy light directly upon it.

An ESP LTD V-50 guitar, resting against a shelf made specifically for guitars. Squares of light bounce off the dinged, black body. The pick ups, knobs and tuning head, a brilliant red. No man could make something this beautiful, this perfect. Even its time and experience can't take away from the immaculate aura this beast provides.

Calcine picks it up. It feels amazing, even with his claws. He felt the power that only a guitar can provide, the excitement that can only fueled by the potential of where this guitar will take him. A ticket on the train of success. This is when Calcine Torres becomes a god.

This was six years ago. Apparently gods live in one room apartments with tiny TV's, one bathroom, an air mattress and subsisting on Ramen noodles. He's lived here for years, barely making enough to pay for rent. A 9-5 job at Target working in the backroom. His wings allow him to reach things that would require a ladder, making him a good beast of burden that can be kicked around when needed.

But that's not where he truly lives. Calcine lives in his music, the songs he writes, the words he sings, the percussion he provides. At night is when he life begins, sitting out in the streets performing in front of punk rock shows before they start, or even playing in his own gigs.

Such is the life of an underground musician, running from gig to gig, looking for someone who will pick up their flag without recolouring it in a way they want. Calcine has a guitar and an identity, that's all he's got, and he's not giving up either; even if it means golden swimming pools and houses with elevators.

So that's his life. Boring work shift in the day, high-energy fun at night. And you know what, Calcine wants it to stay exactly like that.




PHYSICAL:
Three feet tall from claw to shoulder, eight foot from tail to snout. Not a very large dragon.
Can easily play as a female or a herm, just ask.
Other than that, it's what he is in the picture.
If he was in a video game, he would probably be voiced by Troy Baker.
Still looking for an art commission.

PERSONALITY:
Calcine is a rather sweet one. Very friendly with people, loves making new friends.
Can be short tempered at times.
Loves to play fetch.
Doesn't talk about this much for obvious reasons, but is quite the skilled graffiti artist.
