Plucky treasure hunter and daughter of brilliant scientist, Dr. Brief, Bulma is a girl who has a heart for adventure. Aged seventeen and free-spirited, she is an avid explorer and tends to find herself in a rather unusual sort of mischief and situations involving powers beyond her understanding. Still, she is extremely head-strong, if to the point of being stubborn.
Being the only daughter and heir to a vast technology company, Bulma knows her way around devices of many kinds. She's typically quite resourceful, in turn, but her occasional squeamishness often can get the better of her when she's dealing with things that are, either truly terrifying, or just plain disgusting (Frogs are a case of this). This can often result in a rather brash reaction that could involve her kicking something or screaming at the top of her lungs in fright or objection.
Bulma's travelled through various lands and met many different people and lifeforms in her young life, so she's not always 'What the heck are you!?' when approached by some kind of life form who is beyond the norm. Chances are if you can speak intelligently to her and actually have a firm grasp of human and sociable customs then she'll be pretty relaxed and be down with having a talk and getting to know a person, provided they don't aim a gun at her and demand she hand over her worldly possessions or something like that. Heck, it's happened before, so she'll respond appropriately if pressed.
Still, though. She hasn't seen everything... and there's always the odd time that she might trip herself up in some bizarre circumstances, perhaps involving falling from terrifying heights after being dropped by a prehistoric monster!
... not that that happens often, mind you.
More often than not, she's travelling, depending on just how civilised the place is that she's visiting. If it's a human place? Well, one thing she'll do is shop. She does love to do a little shopping here and there when she's not 'camping' out inside of her capsule house.
Yes, a house she can transport around inside of a tiny 'Capsule Corp.' capsule, amongst other things that her family business is responsible for inventing and manufacturing. This is where she usually stays when away from the luxuries of her family home... which is all the time, for the most part. It's quite comfy, really, so she doesn't complain. It's better than sleeping in a tent with all the bugs and creatures and 'weird stuff' that could be out to get her!
