Bruna

Bruna was born into one of the many noble families who dominated the elven capital of Thas'Nemas. As the first born she was the heir of her family's immense wealth and commanding power. Her family helped establish the elven city countless centuries ago and has always maintained a high ranking status. With the status came power, pride, and of course arrogance. The magical elves always viewed themselves as a superior race to the shorter lived mortal races. While not exactly immortal themselves, just long lived, it took much to kill an elf. It was almost unheard of an elf dying when in their protected city state of Thas'Nemas.

As Bruna grew up she was raised with the dignify and poise expected of a future leader. Headstrong and defiant, she always got her way. Very few elves could stand in her way, or dared to even think about it. Those whose family's power could match her own were easy to coerce. A sultry look here, a gentle touch there, it wasn't a surprise seeing Bruna rise up to a position of power.

Part of her family duties was diplomacy. She soon assumed the responsibility of maintaining diplomatic relations and establish new trade routes. While royalty is kept under immense protection inside the elven city state, that is not so much the case in the mortal lands. There, her position meant less. There, the elves were seen as arrogant. There they were unprotected.
