"I shall never leave you!"
A man once pledged his bride.
But he couldn't keep the promise,
When he was the first of them who died.
"I shall definitely return!"
Assured a man who went to war.
But the battle's toll would claim him,
Like the night a fallen star.
"I'll remember you to the end!"
A man parting pledged aloud.
But his sickly mind was waning,
Her image vanished in the shroud.
"I'll make sure you live!"
He said to his dear wife.
His last breath brought the cure,
But in grief she took her life.
"Hold on and I will save you!"
Yelled to a periled sweetheart.
But it turned out for naught,
Fate had torn another two apart.
"I will protect you!"
Exclaimed the man who drew his blade.
Alone he held back the assailants,
But already lifeless she laid.
"Our love will be eternal."
So spoke the prince in white.
But his loved one turned unfaithful,
And relinquished him in spite!
How often would you hear a man promise something in a relationship? A true man's word was much sought after, so much that dames would demand them, make them prerequisite and judge people by their willingness to make them in any commitment regardless of how serious they were themselves. This in turn, began to dilute such promises... but in the World, there would always be men who put their sincere conviction and feelings into their promise. And there would also be those who could not keep them. But their feelings would live on, for they were larger than life, the virtue of their intentions mixed with the sin of the broken promise and was trapped until one fateful day...
"Who are you?" asked the angel, as she came along the pale being.
"I am the Broken Vow" it replied
"I am the spirits of regret, trapped within chains forged by themselves through the promises they couldn't keep." "But you're not at fault" said the angel
"I shall free you, please be free, be reborn, be given the chance to roam!"...
And so, he was reborn. His name was Weiss Prinz, a man of darkest regrets. For he was a Vice Prince, an embodiment of regret born of the most sincere promises from the depths of a man's heart that he couldn't keep. He is cursed to wander eternally with their feelings, forced to feel sincere love to any woman, but deepest regrets that he would not be able to stay with them, for he could not control his feelings and could not love one person alone. It would hurt their feelings, so he would warn them not to have false hopes... However, he cannot help but ignite in the passion of those who would pledge their all for their loved ones, his desire to forge memories, to protect, to love are beyond human as he is born of the sentiments of men larger than life.
...but to those who would betray and reject the sincerest of feelings, he would show no mercy. He also is hostile to succubi and incubi, as they are his opposite. He'd orchestrate them a poetic demise. A song on his lips, a tap of his toes, he's the Vice Prince of Darkness, of Broken Vows.
Powers/Abilities:
Maestro:
Weiss' conductor's baton can spontaneously summon music and winds, though the winds aren't strong enough to be used as direct method of attack.
Heldensage:
Weiss' conductor's baton can transform into a rapier, which he is incredibly skilled with, as Weiss is practically superhuman to begin with. This weapon is especially powerful against temptress demons such as succubi, it defies their magic and can always harm them.
L'Amour Intemporel:
Immunity to wanton seduction. Active attempts at charming Weiss through erotic means are nigh ineffective entirely (it is only possible to have an effect if he had any interest in you in the first place and even then only applies under very specific circumstances). Weiss retains his entire composure through such actions used on or against him.
Ewigkeit:
Weiss cannot be soul-vored properly and will resist spirit-targeting attacks as he consists of an infinity of souls. It is possible to feed off his spirit, but he isn't damageable or killable through spirit-damage or draining methods.
Preferences/RPs:
-
An Oath Beyond the End: If Weiss approaches you ICly, you are usually approached somewhere along this setting, the character will feel compelled to show you affection and passion his inner spirits were never able to fulfill, but he will snap halfway through and try not to have a relation because he knows these feelings are originally meant for someone else, even if that person no longer exists and the feelings remain genuine towards you. How you proceed from there is up to you.
-
Vows of Vengeance: You have betrayed the sincere feelings of one who has loved you in the past, these feelings have become tragic grief within Weiss, who will attempt to pay you back for your misdeeds. This can be done through any type of vore he is physically capable of (so none related to female genitals) or other ways of torture/death. Whether you want him to succeed or have a different ending is up for discussion.
-
Pledge of Redemption: You are actually a person who is affected by a broken vow that resides within Weiss, he recognizes you and does all in his power to fulfill the promise, but recognizes that he is ultimately not your loved one but rather one who carries their feelings, leading him to find a deeper relationship would be wrong. How you proceed is up to you.
