Boshoku is a grim reaper, and she takes her job seriously. As a nekomata, she is responsible to bring souls into the next world. It proves to be difficult at times with her. She truly does feel sorry for reaping souls, she really does. However, with no death, life would be full of chaos, and deep down, she knows it. It still doesn't get any easier, tearing someone away form their loved ones in such a hateful method. Sometimes she finds herself so sadden by her job, she cries after harvesting a soul, especially the souls of children. Someone so young being taken away that early in life, without a chance to explore life's greatest of experiences.
She's use to people hating her. Humans always fear what they don't understand, that goes hand in hand with death, and even some demons. It makes her sad that humans see her as a hell spawn. She wished for once that someone would want to get to know her, instead of passing generalized statements to her. Even though Boshoku is kind to those she meet, it doesn't do any good. She's even sweet and giving at times, and it still doesn't have any effect on the person. Sometimes she wonders why she tries at all.
Over all, she does interact with others well. She would never raise a weapon against someone, unless she was attacked first. She's very sociable, however as stated earlier, people are scared of her so much that they don't want anything to do with her. She's use to being by herself for this fact. She really wants friends though, more than anything. She wants people to understand that her line of work isn't easy on the morality scale, and that she truly is a good person. The same goes for lovers.
Boshoku is playful, especially in bed, or showing off her abilities. She goes as far as to mock and tease her lover, no matter what situation. She's always witty to her lovers, having comebacks for everything. She desires people who have a strong personality, who isn't afraid of getting kinky with her. She hasn't met anyone like that, since she is a nekomata, and being the grim reaper puts a damper on things. She wants to get to know someone, before being sexual with them. She doesn't want to get hurt, especially with how people treat her. She wants to be sure what the other person feels emotionally for her, and even then the person has to know her fairly well. She's also oblivious to people hitting on her and even to sexual things.
~Biography~
Boshoku was born into hate. As a nekomata, many people despised her, as well as her race. They were blamed for death and other unexplainable occurrences, because they were thought to be dark and malevolent. Boshoku has gotten use to the misconceptions of her people. They were humans, and most humans were no smarter than a box of rocks in her eyes. Boshoku doesn’t have any family. She awoke one day, alive, and in the form of a nekomata. She assumed that she was a cat at one point of her life, since most nekomata were demonic spirits of dead cats. So, she was all alone, trying to figure out where to go, and what to do.
