Most people think of Arachne or Driders as these intensely sexy and amazingly violent beings, that will seduce someone just to end up biting them and sucking all their insides out with little to no remorse.
Simply put, Blodwen isn't.
A close relative to the lynx spider family, albeit a much larger and definitely more human-like one, she is far from the black widow or brown funnel web driders that would just as soon kill someone as they looked at her.
She is shy...defensive....and would rather keep away from potential nuisances then just up and kill them. As for those who are nice to her, she is actually quite the friendly type, though it takes a long time for anyone to get close to her.
Once they become friends though, she is a bit on the overbearing side when it comes to affection and showing it.
Her main diet consists of blood, oddly enough, and she does have a penchant for human, though tends not to hunt them, instead drinking from willing individuals if they come about, or she chooses to capture animals.
She does build a web, albeit its more of a huge cave covered in webs then the traditional web between some foliage.
She's naturally avoidant of humans or humanoids...so any humans are going to have to press into her business to get her to not be so shy.
Don't threaten her though, she isn't above silencing a threat with her venom.
Sliders are preference, but not definite.
