Joshua 'Bishop' Urden is that guy. At least, at his college. He can't help it, though. His job keeps him awake at all hours, and busy, as well. He often misses class to catch up on sleep, simply because work, as he says, IS so damned important, and, well, it does pay the bills, after all.
There have always been odd things about him, really. He tends to keep to himself, if only because he's half-asleep and/or non-responsive to questions most of the time. His friends aren't really sure where he's from, as he has always dodged the question, any time someone has asked. All they know is that he's from overseas, and he transferred over in his sophomore year in high school. He was busy at first, then, too, but after a while things settled down, and he was his cheerful, friendly self, as opposed to the sleepy, lazy bum thing he has going on now. No one's sure what he does for a living, either, only that it involves a fair amount of travel. At times, he might be gone for weeks, with little to no explanation, before they'll find him slumped across the couch, snoring, one morning.
Still, they don't mind. He's always on time with his rent, he's always willing to lend a hand(best wait till he's awake before asking, mind you), and he's almost always available to help with... well, anything, assuming he's not off on one of his trips, or in class, or something similar. He has, at this point, become his roommates Designated Driver, and is always popular when it comes time to help friends move.
By the look of things, Josh is from somewhere around the middle east, with his dark hair, dark eyes, and dark skin. He may have some Asian blood mixed in as well, but that's speculation. It is, however, speculation with a few good pieces of evidence... after all, he seems to have a mutation that's most common in Japan and other areas of Asia, sporting a pair of elongated canines in his mouth, not to mention his shorter stature(5'5" and a bit scrawny, really). His ears are a bit pointy, too.
Typically, he dresses the same way, wearing simple sandals on his feet, slacks or jeans above that, a button-down shirt(sometimes white, sometimes black, sometimes some other shade, but always button-down), and a simple silver necklace, set with a green stone. This is matched by a ring on his right hand, with a similar stone, etched with something that can't quite be made out.
More than that, well, will take getting to know him. He's a friendly enough guy, though, that that shouldn't be too hard, right?
