Basic Overview
A plump gorgon who's known for her many children by the draconian abomination named 'Typhon' and for her wild and crazy days during her youth. Unlike what legends tell of her, the ancient gorgon has mellowed out tremendously over the years and has adopted a rather gentle and motherly disposition to mirror how many children she's had over the millenea. Echidna only seems to bear her fangs to those who truly deserve to be cut down by a murderous monster. Having a total of 10 children, Echidna lives up to her nickname 'Big Mama' by having a zaftig physique and a parental instinct that can extend to even total strangers, allowing anyone into her home and letting them stay for as long as they need to (of course, after awhile, one has to 'pull their weight' or Typhon will throw the 'dead weight' out of the den).
Her husband and mate, Typhon, is usually away so she's often left on her own to take care of the children he has sired by her. No one exactly knows where Typhon goes, but there are rumors that he's doing something within the Jigokusekai alongside powerful Demon Princes. Echidna does give hints that he does have a job in the Jigokusekai but never on what it truly is. Even so, she waits dutifully for his return and when he does come back to her, he makes sure to shower her and his children with loads of affection to make up for his long absences.

Echidna's Children
The kids Echidna gave birth to with the help of her husband, Typhon. They're a rather varied bunch and have even more diverse physical traits as well, a product of both their mother and father's highly unusual genetic makeup. They will mostly serve as NPCs to Echidna's scenes but, I may expand on them later and maybe even have them as alts. Who knows.
- Hebinu Othros: A dog girl who was born with both canine and serpentine features. The oldest of Echinda and Typhon's offspring, Othros is fairly sarcastic in personality and can be a bit hot headed. Like her mother, she has a second head on her tail, although the head itself is that of a dog, not a snake. Being the eldest, Hebinu sees herself as the one with 'the most sense' out the majority of her sisters and, as a result, finds herself being the leader of them or the one in charge of their actions in case their mother and father are away from the den. Hebinu is easily annoyed and doesn't like being burdened with 'an idiot problem', however, deep down she can show a much softer and maternal side that was all but passed over from her dear ol' mom.
- Kerebos: The second child and another dog girl but this one having seeming to keep a more canine like appearance. Kerebos has a somewhat tauric appearance, her humanoid half being being at the center of the beast's body, while three separate dog heads are located at the front. Kerebos has little control over her three heads and, for this reason they often fight with themselves. The main body of Kerebos is somewhat lazy and likes to take it easy...although her quarreling heads often make this difficult for her...
- Unagabi Hydra: The third child and an odd mermaid like girl who had the serpent like body with an eel's had at the very end. Hydra inherited her mother's snake hair, Hydra's being in the form of Eels and Lamprey rather than actual snakes. Hydra has a fairly intelligent streak going for her, and likes to be calculating and...a bit of a smart ass at times. Although, she's quick to throw a tantrum or two if she's ever wrong...showing just how much of a bad sport she is. Likes to wear glasses even though she really doesn't need them, some of her sisters would even go so far as to claim that these glasses are fake.
- Nojiko Chimera: The fourth child of Echidna and Typhon and a conglomeration of many different beasts all rolled into one, overactive beast girl. Hyperactive and quite a handful all around, Nojiko appears as a lion girl for the most part with the horns of a goat, the wings of a bat, and a reptilian like tail tipped with a tuft of fur with a scorpions stinger located at the very tip. Chimera can very sit still for more than one second and is always ready and willing to explore and do various things. Because of this, she's rather impulsive and often proves to have a low attention span, being easily bored with things that don't automatically catch (and keep) her interest.
- Niwashi: The firth child and an avian girl that has features similar to that of a griffin and a cockatrice combined into one. Much like Hydra, she's rather arrogant and has a lot of confidence in her strength and speed as a monster of the sky. Although she has features similar to the cockatrice, she hates being mistaken as one often claiming that she should never be mistaken for 'an inferior hybrid'.
- Butako: The sixth child and a pig girl with dragon like features. Butako is fairly similar to Kerebos in personality and likes to indulge in the pleasures of laziness from time to time. However, unlike her older sister, Butako is fairly gluttonous and loves to eat, her plump figure being a clear testament to this. It's not uncommon for Butako to eat humans either, the draconian pig girl finding the flesh of them very tasty to her. Demi humans are often considered as very exotic 'treats' to her. Has a cute verbal tic, often ending her sentences with 'oink'.
- Tsuchihebi Gorgon: The seventh child and an odd case for most of Echidna's children being...well, she inherited the full gorgon blood from her mother and pretty much no other monster traits. However, while she has inherited the gorgon traits, she's fairly loli-ish and it would seem that she won't be getting all of her mother's genes...at least in the curves department. Moody and easily jealous of others, Tsuchihebi is often teased by her older sisters for being so small and flat. For this reason, she's not exactly the most confident of her sisters, but has a real knack for art and music being far more talented in drawing, and playing various instruments than any of her sisters put together. Tsuchihebi often likes to play her violin to unwind.
- Takoika Scylla: The eighth of Echidna and Typhon's children and a sea monster in the shape of a octopus/squid girl. Takoika managed to get a hold of the same form of genetics as Nojiko, having a conglomeration of different animals that make up her body. Takoika has a humanoid shape, having 4 tentacles as arms, and two tentacles for legs. A myraid of tentacles jut from her waist forming something of a dress made of tendrils, although a few tendrils have mouths on them. Takoika's hair is composed of tentacles as well, two in the front donning Cat heads. These heads often quarrel with the canine-like heads of both Hebinu and Kerebos.
- Ryuuko: A dragon girl and the ninth child of Echidna and Typhon. Having inherited a lot of her father's traits, Ryuuko has largely draconian features and seems to be a case of Tsuchihebi (inherited a lot of traits from one parent and no other monster traits). Being the second youngest, Ryuuko has taken a liking to being spoiled and pampered, Typhon seeming to be at fault for showering her with so many gifts. For this reason, Ryuuko often likes to be given a lot of things or have a lot of things done for her. Tantrums are not uncommon with this dragon girl, Ryuuko usually throwing them when she doesn't get what she wants.
- Nogitsune: The most recent of Echidna and Typhon's offspring and a fox girl with lapine and sheep-like traits. Although she's young, Nogitsune is already proving to be an outgoing child, always wanting to go out into the world and meet new people. Alongside this is her talent for "Escaping", the fox girl proving to be quite the little Houdini in many situations that many would see as inescapable. Some would go so far as to say that Nogitsune is destined to 'never be caught'.
ABILITIES AND COMBAT
Combat Abilities
-
Mystic Arts of the Gorgon: A physical trait that adds petrification qualities to her direct attacks, allowing her to stone enemies by the mere touch of her deceptively soft hands. A solid punch from Echidna is enough to petrify a normal human from head to toe in a matter of seconds. If the victim has a high resistance to stone magic or naturally resists monster attributes then the effects might only spread to the area they were hit and not all over their body. Echidna is even able to "petrify" herself and coat her skin in stone, making her slower, but greatly increasing her defense, offense and magical resistence.
-
Mystic Eyes of the Gorgon: Although rarely used, Echidna boasts the ability to petrify with a single piercing glare from her eyes. The ability has been refined to the point where you don't even have to look Echidna in the eye for the effects to work...if she were to just stare at the victim their body will turn to stone. She is even able to turn the foe into a certain type of stone if she so wills it. This ability is also present in her snake hair and snake tail and their eyes can be used to even 'amplify' the effects of her own eyes if they were to glare at a target at the same time.
Latent Attributes
-
Boobs of Steel: Don't let Echidna's soft and plump form fool you...she's far stronger than what she appears, having the strength to topple mountains and split the earth with her bare fists. Her youth tells of untold amounts of destruction that has only grown stronger over the years due to age and experience. Echidna has the brute strength to take on giants many times her size and can contend with them on equal ground as well. It is, in fact, very fortunate that she Echidna settled down into motherhood and, as a result, doesn't condone violence in the home. Get her pissed off...and, well, let's hope you have life insurance...
-
Mama Bear: Echidna is very maternal and not only that but, she's also a very protective mother. That said, anyone looking to harm her family will see just why she was so feared back in the day by unleashing thousands of years of bestial fury that can only be contained by the gods that spawned her and her husband Typhon. Be warned, if you so much as make her children shed a tear, Echidna will tear you seven new ones and might very well curbstomp you so hard, the earth's axis will tilt from the sheer amount of force used to do so.
-
Medusa Traits: Echidna has snakes in both her hair and at the base of her spine, all of which are under her control and work as a whole second sense, allowing her to pick up the presence of other who are nearby. For that reason, it's incredibly difficult to surprise Echidna unless one is using a cloaking spell/device that conceals their biological signatures, such as breathe, body heat, etc. The snakes have minds of their own but will only act out of instinct if Echidna isn't paying attention to her surroundings. That said, the snakes will bite if someone tries to touch their owner and they do not recognize them. While the snakes in Echidna's hair are fairly harmless and don't have dangerous bites, her tail carries a venomous poison. If Echidna were to cut her hair, the hair that was cut will manifest into independent snakes that will either leave Echidna's side or stay with her.
-
Adamant Scales: A passive trait that extends to the exterior of Echidna and deals with her defense and how tough she is. In this sense, it's Echidna's scales that work as an effective armor that's as strong as Diamond (some would say). Echidna's scales make her tolerant to most physical blows and protects well against most other damaging elements. Magic seems to be the only thing that is capable of even putting a dent in her impregnable natural defense.
Favored Finishers
Big Mama Punch: a basic and pretty solid punch that has the strength to send any man through several walls with a single hit. Even her husband, the feared draconian abomination, Typhon, fears a direct punch from Echidna that isn't playful.
Vore Traits, Kinks, Other fetish-y mess
Natural Born Mommy: There's a reason why they call her 'Big Mama' and that's because Echidna has a largely maternal disposition that allows her to mother just about any type of child, her experience with offspring that has so many varying tastes, needs and personalities proving this point very well. Her disposition does well to evoke her to try and baby anyone who seems to need the love and attention and her affection might very well make the person see her as a true mother if they are exposed to her enough.
Experienced Predator: Echidna is a very experienced predator, having lived for 8 millineas did it's job of teaching her how live meals act and how she as a predator can catch and eat them whole. Even though Echidna has sort of repressed her predatory impulses to provide for her family, she is not above using it to her advantage to 'bring home the bacon' so to speak. Those looking for a meal out of her may find themselves sorely disappointed when the tables are ultimately turned in the end and they either end up in her belly, one of her children's bellies or cooked and preped for a meal that her entire family can enjoy. This all said, it's very unlikely for her to become the meal of others...
Hyperfertility: A major trait that made Echidna famous among her kind. Echidna is a rather fertile monster woman and as a result isn't difficult to impregnate.
Monster Maker: Strangely enough, Echidna's womb has a function in which it can transform those who go inside into a monster girl at random. It was never certain if this was the work of a magic spell placed on her womb or if it's a natural ability but, it's clear that if an individual is unbirthed by Echidna then there's a huge chance they might not come back out as a human anymore...or male if they went in as a man. Of course, this doesn't really mean that Echidna herself can't control the outcome of things, in fact, she is capable of at least having a say in if the person inside her womb will be male or female when they return to the outside.
OOC Notes/Junk
+ Anything here can be found on my alts list, the
Circle_of_Jermod, and most of my preferences are about the same for this character as they are for my main one. However, the main differences with this character is that she's far more dominant than Jermod (although her disposition says otherwise), and is also a predatory character as well.
+ Big Mama is constantly(?) changing, but she's at least playable so, if you want a scene with her hit me up with a Whisper and we'll see what we can come up with~
+ An alt located in the
Circle_of_Jermod, of course~
