Hell can get very inventive. Especially if you're speaking of the Hell of the Realm of Bells. Being supernatural beings, demons can become all sorts of creatures, and as such proliferate in /vast/ abundance and variety. Being driven towards the opposition to Heaven gives purpose to these manifold demons. But being far more individualistic and by mortal standards, 'real', makes these demons live in a complex hierarchy.
Biblia exists in an uncertain place in said hierarchy. She, by all rights, /should/ be a lesser being, a 'Book Imp', who is a weak demonic entity usually lined up to answer summonses and serve mages whilst trying to corrupt them. But the trick is, that after the initial creation of demonkind by Her Solemn Radiance, they were given the ability to interbreed. It turns out, that Biblia is the daughter of a book imp and an incubus, the former very likely a slave or concubine of the latter. But in so breeding that pair...
...Biblia became something more. Demons inherit the spiritual energy of their parents to some extent, and in her case, Biblia's father was /quite/ powerful for his kind. So this ended up meaning that, while Biblia was best considered a member of her mother's kind, she is something far more than a mere book imp. After a bit of thought and a petition for answers from Her Solemn Radiance, they decided that Biblia was a new subspecies of book imp, referred to as a Grimoire Demon. She almost inevitably gained high status for that reason, and unlike some Hells, backstabbing was generally frowned upon in the lower ranks, which even her elevated status included her in. That'd, after all, get in the way of obedience to the Radiance and her Twelve Noble Devils. So Biblia had a surprisingly peaceful youth, developing and finding out that she was for all intents and purposes both like a more powerful book imp /and/ like a succubus.
The implications for this were twofold: On one hand, she had a book imp's superior intellect and ease at learning (especially magic)... but on the other hand, she had a succubus's seduction and ability to drain and consume spirit energy. She tried to find some way to make these two traits cooperate, though, and would eventually hit on one while perusing one of the infernal libraries. She could learn magic that enhanced her succubus talents, and methods of casting that enhanced her spells with the essences drained! Sure, it was on some level eating away at her own inner power to instead make a splashier /effect/, but it might be worth it.
...But Biblia didn't stop there. Most book imps had a natural affinity for writing and books (As one might expect!) anyway, but as a more powerful creature, a
Grimoire Demon, Biblia had something honestly much better. She learned that her spiritual capacity allowed her more control over that affinity, so she actually took it to the next level: Control not just of the literal written word, but of the /figurative/ aspects as well. The realms of fiction, the descriptions of nonfiction - she could /evoke/ them, make them real.
So armed, she rose in rank even more, and while she's still quite young, is considered a rising star in the Great Infernal Hierarchy. Because of this, she gets better assignments, has more access to resources, all those good things. She still is usually sent to mages and more /educated/ people to corrupt and subvert (or... remove), as well as working in Hell's libraries to document knowledge for use by other demons. Though, after all, she /is/ still part-succubus by blood, so she sure has urges...~
--=Extra Capabilities Notes=--
Just to make it /clear/, her book magic is based on using a text's information as a guide for her magic to make things. She could make a world from a work of fiction (the old 'trapped in the story' thing), bring out a fictional object or being, etc. Or, she could gain power or supernatural insight about a subject of a /nonfiction/ work - like using a text on magic to cast spells described in it, or using someone's letter as a 'focus' for scrying on them. However, without spending the requisite week+ studying like normal, she cannot actually use such powers without an appropriate book at her disposal.
But she /does/ know various magics of her own. More delicate control of her succubus-inherent aura of charm/seduction, and the ability to burn spirit essence (not /necessarily/ a full soul) to enhance spells. As possibly 'throw-it-in' as it might be, the vague prevalence of vorish acts has encouraged her, likewise, to alter herself to be capable of it. This isn't all that hard for a demon, really.
--=Story Hooks=--
Maybe you've summoned her as a familiar? Maybe instead you contact her for a boon of some sort? ...It might even be possible that she has been sent to walk to and fro along the earth to do as she pleases. She might even be on holiday as it were!
