Beta_Silfrfang

Beta is a smaller, weaker wolf of the Silfrfang tribe. A runt of her family's litter, the smallest and physically weakest of her sisters, She is however still taller than most humans however, was aptly, and perhaps cruelly called Beta, as she would never be strong enough to be a leader.

And this was true and rather than try and fail to become strong, or allow herself to become food for one of the stronger wolves, she instead became smart, choosing to make up for her lack of strength and endurance with intellect, which in a village of wolves is incredibly difficult. the town had little to no books, and no library at all. She would badger her parents for books when traders came to town, and they were often given to her, as the wolven merchants of other tribes also held little value for books, most salvaged off of dead prey. She amassed quite a collection, and taught herself to read Nordic, Common, Elvish, Neko and Kitsune/fox languages.

When the old tribal leader was eventually usurped by her daughter Ironfang, Beta went forward to her and presented her the idea of the clan's first library, frankly expecting a no. Irongfang however dreamed of a unified tribe of the Silfrclans, and believed knowledge would play an important part in that, Beta was granted her wish, becoming the first librarian in the village's first library. Ironfang would collect her many books from traders and from the town and she settled into her new role. She did however, under Ironfang's request, begin to search the books for new weapons the wolves could build, defenses they could construct and technologies they could re-appropriate. Thanks to Beta Silfrfang brought in it's first standardized currency. The Silfr-Mark, but one should remember; Knowledge is power, and the weapons created with knowledge are devastating...

Personally Beta is shy, quite clsoed in about herself, having little social experience bar being teased by her sisters and fellow children, ignored by her parents, and Irongfang's kindness. She often gets lost or scared in conversation, needing encouragement to continue speaking. Shouting at her will likely cause her to cower and she's got little confidence, often second guessing herself. These may change with time.































































Pregnant Beta, Does that make her a Breeding-Beta or a Beta-Breeder? Or maybe she's working off a lovely meal not liekly, being as she's a subby gal... but possible.?
