To most people, Bella would only look like an unusually large minigirl. Many preds have therefore tried to have her as a meal. But what she doesn't tell people is that she is a parasite.
She can't be digested and thrives inside the guts of larger people. She is crafty when tricking people into eating her, either by playing an innocent unwilling prey, or a suicidal willing one. Other times she has to force her way inside an unwilling pred.
She often secretes strange fluids from her skin. One kind let's her become so slippery that she can break out of almost any grip.
The other fluid makes her able to stick to anything like glue. By using sticky hands and slippery body she can easily climb down even the tightest throats.
Once Bella has lived inside her predator for an extended period of time (usually several years) she'll start laying eggs without the need of a mate. Her children will spread through the pred and eat even more of the hosts food. If left unchecked for long enough, generations of parasites will grow until the predator is dead and they will all have to find their own new hosts.
Bella was born inside a massive dragon with her siblings. After the dragon died, she traveled around on her own finding human settlements to be her favourite.
