Though she would only use her firearm where necessary, Rebecca 'Becky' Blaine is a fresh recruit from the Firebird Enforcement Agency. They specialize in training runaway, troubled or young women without a true sense of direction in their life to become agents tasked with investigating unnatural phenomena, apprehending runaway suspects and criminals and various other tasks that require determination, a level head and a strong sense of responsibility.

Becky is one of the Academy's youngest new recruits, having reached the age of sixteen years and determined to do her part. Whilst she might not be the most experienced with a gun or street smart, she has quite an advanced intellect and holds the record for the highest examination marks in the Academy. Some consider this a surprise considering her history, unable to understand the reason why she was disowned by her parents and was recruited by the Academy in the first place.
