Reference up!

.... whaddya mean, it's not safe here? It looks safe... wait... why are you looking at me like that?

... being innocent and naive is not a good thing, around here, is it? I mean, there's all SORTS of trouble you can get into if you are, and not all of it is harmless, now is it?

Rebecca doesn't know that, of course. She's new! And naive, and innocent, and really a bit clueless. She doesn't know the first THING about this place... so odds are good she's going to find out soon enough just how badly off she really is. Still, until that happens, she's fairly cheerful, and probably too friendly for her own good in ANY location.

Rebecca's always been an odd one, mind you. Ever since she showed up as an infant, she was different. Of course, most children aren't born with wings or a tail, or, come to that, with no apparent parents. She just... showed up in a bassinet one day, out of nowhere, causing no small consternation among the hospital staff, both at her apparent condition and at her lack of, you know... parents in the hospital. Or anyone having given birth to her that day. Fortunately, her world DOES have odd things like her, so there wasn't any nastiness involving men in black, or other such unpleasant government habits that some worlds have. No, no.. she was just adopted. And she grew up!

And, well, life was normal! Or rather, life was as normal as it can be when you can fly. And she can FLY! She never got a car, for that very reason.... but she did get a very good cell phone, in case she got lost, along with a GPS and a sizeable allowance for food. Flying is hungry work!

But yes. Life was normal! She went to a perfectly normal high school, where she never quite fit in(she could never participate in sports, due to the possibility of wing injury... and also because she can fly. Slam dunks that never stop, in basketball! Etc, etc.). She had some friends, went to sleepovers, got hit on by a few of the bolder guys(who she shot down, because they were JERKS). She made As and Bs for most of high school, with the occasional C. And then she decided that school wasn't fun, and that she wanted to go EXPLORE. So she did!

And, well, now she's here. How she got here is anyone's guess. Probaly some combination of flying and taking long, sleepy bus rides courtesy of Greyhound. She's got her clothes, and access to her bank account, and her phone, so she should do pretty well for herself in the normal course of things, and, well, she's cute enough to have a fair shot at most jobs that are aided by that sort of thing. The only thing is, it IS dangerous around here.... what's going to happen when she finds out how?

As for the physical side of things, she's mostly normal... but only mostly. Standing at five feet three inches tall, she's got a slender, somewhat petite figure, complemented by long, silky white hair, tipped in red, that she wears in a french braid. Her ears are slender and elfin, moving around a bit to catch various sounds, and possibly distract people watching her, while her eyes are apparently human, and a lovely, deep blue color. Her skin is fair, perhaps verging on pale. That's where any semblance of normal ends, though, as she has fluffy, white and red, angelic wings! And a feathery, prehensile tail! .... okay, so she's not necessarily one of a kind as far as looks. Even so! She's the only one of her she's met!

Clothing, for her, is a mixture of practicality, comfort, and simplicity. She prefers tight jeans because they don't cause as much drag, a tank top because she can wear it with her wings, and simple sneakers(Red converse all-stars that she's really quite fond of). She has a few other outfits, but she tends to buy them as she goes(or as needed, in a few cases). So far it's working for her...
