Basil is a Marowak that originates from the Alola region. He was part of a Cubone and Marowak tribe that lived in the thickest jungles of Alola, shying away from humankind and living in secrecy.
The Marowak of his tribe were known to devour tresspassers on their land, and was in the middle of his training to learn how to consume large prey, and smaller meals in bulk, when he was suddenly transported to the Nexus during one of his training drills.

Basil doesn't remember what happened, or how he got to this strange world, but humans seem to be the least of his worries now. Seperated from the rest of his tribe he finds himself alone in a strange new world. And worse...everything looks so delicious and he doesn't know which is food and which is friend!

Though he can let his appetite speak for him, Basil is not without kindness. If you're a jerk he will devour you no questions asked. If he's just met you...expect much the same behavior, but he'll likely apologize for his rude behavior. Because he is still a newly evolved Alolan Marowak he is still learning some of his tribes secrets, one of which is reforming his prey, which he will do to just about anyone who he eats and have done no wrong. But again he is not always precise and you might not end up 100 percent the SAME as when you had been eaten.
