First of all , if we look at Ashley's life , she mostly a "normal" girl , born in the Glirawielian kingdom's landscape from a rather rich inn keeper's family Ashley lived normally, playing with other children, receiving a personnal education from an hired professor , everything went fine. But, the city located at a crossroad for all the continent the girl quickly developped a passion for swordart and war stories , told by the numerous crusader passing by the town to go to war. This passion took in power over the years , at 8 she received her first katana and , since then , she continuously trained , her loving parents who were at first worried began to sponsor their child as they discovered her impressives skills in sworfighting, and thus her power increased , her parent bringing mage to learn her magic and encouraging the local warrior to fight her she became , at 14 , the strongest woman of the town, defeating every warrior that challenged her,naturally , this could not be left unoticed....
Soon after her 15th Bithday, an emissar of the queen arrived with her corps in the city, Ashley already known over the kingdom for her skill the emissar went her to test her, the queen being interested by a new promising recruit. Explaining this to ashley's parents, they immediatly bring ashley to the guard and without even a sword she knocked out all of the 30 soldiers. The emissar , quite impressed , offered the girlto move to the queen's palace and train with the best warrior of the kingdom,and , accepting the offer without a doubt the girl followed the emissar to the capital city, the queen impatiently waiting for her new recruit to meet her in her castle.
Entering the royal castle , the guards eyeing the girl with a curious stare, Ashley felt rather "disoriented" and "paralyzed" by the castle order and beauty. Entering in the cathedral-sized reception hall , a brown-haired figure watched the girl enter , her young and though expression eyeing every step she made before quietly getting up and walking to welcome the child. Right after a short discuss that appeased ashley the queen led her to the practice ground , where two person waited for her , and here began her training , 2 harsch years where ashley trained with the most powerful warrior of the continent , gaing skills at an astonishing rate until she were old enough to lead the guards....
Life weren't as easy as marked in books , if you wanted to survive in this hostile world you needed to be strong. In Ashley's case , she went through the difficulties rather easily and became a strong woman, having the queen as a friend, 500 men under her command and a devoted lover ,she had a kind of succeful life , but this didn't lasted, everyone successfull (wo)man got jealous opponent , and , this time , they succeeded to evictate the girl from her position , and profited of a moment of doubt to accuse the young captain of treachery. Ashley tried everything to claim her innocence , but everything went against her, the queen , didn't had the choice but to condemn her to death after this, such a tragic fate for the poor captain..
The fact that Ashley is still alive is due to only one person, her devoted lover. The importance of this affair touching the highest ranked persons, shaking all the kingdom , all the aristocracy were for her death......except.......the peoples, who knowed the plot , and protested against this. And , while sacrifying himself to save Ashley , the lover exacerbed the tensions over the kingdom. So, with any clue about how to proceed , after long hours of debating , a council finally decide to Ban her from the kingdom.
The girl being evicted from her place and forced to leave the next day, now , she simply wander , hopelessly searching for a king/queen to hire her..
