While perhaps unfortunately named in the modern world, in the land where he came from Balls is a perfectly acceptable name... for one, he's named after his ability to put on a good performance juggling and playing various sports, and for two the society he comes from is much less prudish than modern civilization!
He's an anthropomorphic rat, standing at roughly three feet tall and colored tan from head to toe. His form is actually rather muscular, were he a larger size he'd likely be quite formidable, but his often worn adorable grin is a sure indicator that he's kind hearted. He does wander about nude, though, and if one were to think he were named after his generous endowments they might have a point to make hanging between his legs.
At present he lives in the wild. Having been sold into slavery by his pack and then escaping his master, he's at least adept enough to catch food and find shelter. At times he'll wander civilized areas, putting on some old clothes to be "decent" and putting on a show with juggling. While he always has a hat or cup out for tips, he's quite glad to do it just for show.
