Azurda

Standing 9 feet tall and a wall of muscle is Azurda. He's a hulking tiger who has taken on the role of a mentor to those seeking to better themselves. Spiritually, or physically, he won't turn down those who are true to their intentions.

Azurda grew up in a clan of white tigers, and was larger than his fellow cubs even at a tender young age, so the clans chieftain had decided that the boys calling would be a hero. He didn't have any noble aspirations however. He explored the world aruound him merely attempting to understand it. Because of this desire to understand the world, he'd lived a life that most would think was fit for fairy tales. He's rescued maidens who were captured by fearsome beasts, He'd tussled with bandits, and even slayed a couple dragons during his adventures.

One day during his travels, he'd come across a rather fearsome dragon who was not so much large, as it was cunning. It offered him the opportunity to see all that the world had to offer...in exchange for a portion of his light. Foolishly, Azurda had accepted the offer, and with it, the loss of his left eye. The dragon had gouged the eye right from the lion's socket, though due to the binding nature of the contract, he could not resist. Since then, with his vision only half of what it used to be, he went out in search of the dragon but never found him. He understood the world in a way he never had, as the dragon's knowledge flowed through him but the whole ordeal had left him forever crippled.

Despite the fact he had a signifigant blind spot, it never stopped him. As a matter of fact it helped him blend in with bandits and pirates...allowing him to study the nature of their actions and why they took such pleasure in it. During such times he encountered a well known bandit leader...one who he'd been ordered to snuff out.


Fate had an interesting game it was playing however...The bandit...knew of the weakness of his sight and took advantage of it. Despite this, he spared the massive tiger, and allowed him to live if he agreed to serve as his personal guard. Azurda agreed, in a desire not for self preservation but for his own curiosity. And in doing so he learned of a unique power. The way this bandit dealt with prisoners of no value...was a curiosity as he devoured them. not as a lion tears into a gazelle but in the manner a Snake would devour a rodent.

Azurda practiced this art...for he was used to consuming others...he'd dined on bandits and thiefs that often crossed him but he'd learned now how to devour those morsels whole. It was an experience like no other and it's what eventually led to the Bandit leaders downfall. Now, Azurda rules over the bandits who fear they might become the tiger's next victim and uses them to keep the local villages from trying to overstep their bounds while he spends much of his time now either meditating, or studying in his hut until a newcomer seeks his guidance and training.

some time during his travels with his bandits...he encountered a dragoness by the name of Treva in danger from another party of bandits that wanted her high value horns. He rescued her on the condition that she serve as his mount for the forseeable future. Eventually, He develops a strong bond with Treva and releases her from their agreement and asks her to become his mate.

After some time Azurda revealed to some of his members of his crew the existance of another side of him...a dragon that was born from his deal with the dragon from his past which now lives and bonded with him. this dragon is known as Adurza and uses a more muscular body than the tiger...if you can believe that! Fur becoming hardened scales and his mannerisms becoming much more rough.

Notable members of Azurda's crew------

Ash- Ash is a human male with a family that lives in another country far from their banditry. He's decent with a sword but is a heavy drunk when they caravan isn't in combat.

Pyre- A young kobold with dragon blood flowing through him. He isn't particularly strong, and his weapon of choice is a decoration knife of his own making. But he makes up for his shortcomings in his intellegence. with his quick thinking and wit, he quickly rose to Azurda's number 2.

Baldur- A bull with great physical strength. After joining the Azure fangs Bandits, he has become one of their most dependable members. He does have a very dominating personality however. Careful you don't become his new favorite toy.
