Aya was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 20, 1972. She is multiracial; her father whose name is unrevealed is Caucasian while her mother, Mariko, was Japanese. Aya was also born with an eye defect in her right eye. She had a sister named Maya who, along with her mother, died in a car crash when Aya was only five years old on December 23, 1977. One of Maya's kidneys was transplanted into a girl named Melissa Pearce.
Maya's organs were preserved, which allowed for one of her corneas to be transplanted into Aya at St. Francis Hospital by a hospital intern named Hans Klamp around when she was seven years old. Unknown to any of the doctors, Maya's mitochondria were highly evolved and began changing Aya and Melissa's genetic structure. As separation of the same species occurs, the two strains underwent different evolutions.

As a young woman, Aya studied criminology at the University of Virginia between 1992-1994, and was involved in their ROTC program. She later relocated to New York City and became a police officer for the N.Y.P.D. and worked for three years between 1995-1998, eventually being promoted to the rank of Detective. Within the first six months of working at NYPD's 17th precinct, Aya became involved in an incident known as the New York Blockade Incident to the general public. As an officer, she became part of the "father and daughter" team where she was partnered up with Daniel "Bo" Dollis, a veteran cop, who can be considered overly protective of her at worst.



This variation of Aya however spent too much energy during her battle with the child of Eve known simply as "The Ultimate Being". Whilst combating the baby using her Liberation form the resulting mitochondrial energy erupted out, ripping open a hole in space and time, Aya dispatched the child but at a cost, she was pulled away throught the portal and deemed deceased to all who new her back in her own reality, forever memorialized as a hero. So where did she actually end up? I think you know the answer.

Aya was flung out of the portal and onto soft grass, tumbling a few times from the force of the ejection before coming to a slow halt, body lay flat on the ground as she sighed in pain, yet relief aswell due to her feeling a cool breeze comfort her. Gently she opened her eyes, looking up at the clear blue sky with a smirk, she knew she had claimed victory this day. She also worked out pretty quick that she wasn't home anymore, it was the dead of night during her battle out in the ocean near Manhattan. She remembered being pulled through the portal and then everything went dark, not even the strangest thing that had happened to her that day, not by a long shot meaning she took it in stride. Didn't take her very long to settle in, this world was full of odd beings and creatures so she was rather normal, she had managed to convince the body of power of her situation and they agreed to give her a trial run of there realities law enforcement, she passed with flying colors in all areas but stumbled on one...Vore...

She had never consumed anything big let alone a person by that point, it was a unknown concept to her, never the less she tried and lo and behold her ever evolving mitochondria allowed her to cosume and digest an object way beyond average consumption capabilities, this would only progress until she could comfortably consume a being even taller and broader than herself. Her abilities proved useful and after a year or so of bunking up in the HQ she finnaly got her own place, a nice apartment overlooking the park.

Mitochondrial Abilities:

. Aya can self repair any damage caused to her body, she can even "Pre-Raise" which will regenerate her entire body upon death.

. Aya can negate most afflictions such as poisons, paralysis and even most magics.

. Aya can melt her own and others bodies down into a green slime then regrow her form afterwards, she can also reverse the affects of this on others, the substance created is known as Bio_Slime.

. Aya can stretch her bodily cavities in order to consume whole prey twice the size of her, her body will digest prey into pre mentioned Bio-Slime to be absorbed into her bodies physical state and genetic code.

. Aya can use her mitochondria to power up attacks through either her own arms and legs or a weapon she is holding.

. Aya can inflict ailments and afflictions on her targets such a confusion, poison and slow. She can also buff her own speed (Haste) to allow herself to move much faster than before.

. Finally Aya can enter a fully released state of power known as Liberation. In her Liberation form her body transforms into a raw evolutionary state of the human body, seemingly angelic in appearance and in power with the capabilities of flight, teleportation and raw energy generation to be used as projectiles.

Regarding Aya's Death State:

*PLEASE READ*
I understand people's apprehensions on prey reforming beyond death, and I agree such things can simply not be mentioned and merely assumed. However after being digested, maimed, crushed, bled out or to put it simply killed. Aya WILL reform!

I don't have to mention it but it is to be assumed, if you're wondering 'Well why doesn't she just let herself get eaten then? Why is she so worried? Where is the risk?' Well I would have to assume that dying bloody hurts and she probably wants to avoid being killed because of how bad it's going to hurt. The only benefit of death is that the pain goes away once it's over, that means that Aya has to live with that pain afterwards as a memory, so don't worry, you'll have left your mark on her.
