Aukai

History:
Born the only son of his clan's chief, from a young age he realized he wasn't as gifted in combat as the other boys. While the other boys were training with bows and axe's he preferred collecting herbs and making medicines. This was seen as a woman's job and he was often mocked for it, thus being forced to learn sword play. The tribe kept general peace with their neighboring human tribes and Aukai even traded with human boys his age, at least until the local game moved on. Rather than leave their home, the centaurs turned on the humans, using them as a food source and found they were a lot tastier than any bison. The shy boy was forced to hunt his former friends, although he let them go when he was alone, still trading with them in secret.

Personality:
Generally more timid than others in his clan, he isn't the most talented fighter or smooth talker. His desire to befriend humans often leads him into trouble so he tends to keep to himself. Over all, he's rather kind, he just might be a bit hesitant around other half species.
