His actual name is spelled *. Asterisk is a nickname because people are confused when they try to pronounce *.
Description:
Short (4'9"). Able to do weird ghostly things sometimes. Wears a gray sweater with a sagging hood. The hood has a few small "spikes" in it. Has a scarf over his mouth at all times, which has a yellow zipper down the middle (making the zipper look like his mouth). Sleeves are much too big for his arms and eyes are colored a weird swirly yellow.

* is often described as shy, but this is false. * is just quiet. Literally-- his vocal chords can't produce anything higher than a loudish whisper. In addition he is, naturally, a ghost type.
most people avoid those and he is content to let them.
But * is not, in fact, shy. He loves to do things, have fun, eat people, and all other sorts of stuff. He can also float and kind of "go through" things sometimes due to the ghost part.

Meili_Silvercloak apparently got * to live with her for a while. So he has a home kind of.
