Meet Asconse, the plague doctor. Do you know what a plague doctor is? No? Well then, here's a picture of what one looks like, just for you guys out of the know:

This is also what Asconse looks like! Indeed, she holds the look of the plague doctors back in the middle ages. She's got a lot of ancestors that were in that business, so naturally she felt as though it'd be her calling to be a doctor! A plague doctor! She came to the Nexus by herself on a medical mission. She's heard that the people here have contracted some new form of disease or have evolved differently than everyone else in the world. She's heard that the people will actually eat each other. Absurd, right?! But there are just so many rumors, so Asconse just had to check it out to either confirm or deny the validity of the rumors!

During her time in the Nexus, Absconse may just find herself learning how to do what the others here do...
