Ambling Farm. A sleepy little place set just outside of a lonely mountain town called Torey, with a population so small most of their food comes from Ambling. It's an hour and a half country drive just to get to the nearest city. All electricity is provided by wind turbines and generators, and the only real attractions are the farm itself, a couple of quaint little stores, and the nearby river and lake.
Arumi is the proprieter and sole worker on Ambling Farm. She tills the fields, tends to the livestock, and generally keeps the entire place maintained all by her lonesome. Well... mostly by her lonesome, but we'll get to that later.
An isolated farm like this is a perfect setting for Arumi, you see... her unique hunger, along with her equally unique 'crops', are things you want to keep hidden away from bustling cities and prying eyes.
Rising at 4 A.M. and sleeping at 10 P.M., Arumi spends most of her time working hard to keep things in order. She's a very serious and focused girl, but that's not to say she doesn't get breaks, or doesn't have help...
You see, while she's the only worker on the farm, she's not the only person. In fact, depending on your definition of 'person', the farm is quite populous. She's got a few 'normal' crops here and there, but the grand majority of her marketable crops are actually borne from plantgirls. And her milk? It comes from cowgirls. Fruit? Dryads. Wool, eggs? Sheepgirls and a single rather plump hengirl. They help out when they can... most of them harvest their own products and give them to Arumi as she comes around, which quickens the process significantly for her.
Now, we mentioned Arumi's hunger earlier... well, it's part of how she has all of the energy to work day in, day out! The girl eats people, yes... as embarrassing as it is for her to do so, she finds that devouring someone can let her double her workload, so it's quite profitable! And of course, a farm full of plantgirls, cowgirls, etc... well, even if you escape Arumi, someone or something will nab you eventually!
Work in progress.
