Backstory

Born In 1432, Arcano Rosebud was part of a royal court inside of a dark mysterious castle, at a young age he was brought into servitude by the grand duchess who raised him as a servant boy, at the time Arcano was human, he didn't quite understand why the King and queen had black eyes, in fact, most of them did, they were pale, scary, and seemed to dine only on this strange red liquid.

Arcano himself however grew up becoming the court jester, a much better job than most would have some believe, performing card tricks and magic tricks for the audience, however most of the praise he would receive was laughter, he didn't quite understand why, usually they were supposed to be clapping, or even gaping in awe, why didn't they find it interesting?, he supposed when he got older he would find out, he was only seventeen at the time.

At the age of Twenty one, it was time for a ceremony, and apparently Arcano was part of it!, he had become of age, for what?, he wasn't sure, standing before his piers, the queen suddenly loomed forward over him, before Arcano could speak, he felt something pierce his neck, gasping in pain as he writhed for hours!, he felt drained, and... hungry...

He realized what had happened to him, they turned him into a Vampire!, but there was an odd silence in the room, when Arcano came to, he was practically swimming in a large pool of blood, he was in the throne room but... all of the servants, the king, the duchess, all drained, he tasted his lips, he killed them, he killed them all...

It turns out that Arcano's bloodline was immensely powerful, even as strong as the great Dracula, his form of Vampirism was the second strongest at his Second birth ((Transformation)) the Elder Vampire, without having drained that much Blood to begin with, it wouldn't be long now, a new drive filled Arcano, a hunger that couldn't be quenched, but at the same time, his more humane instincts kick in a lot of the time, finding that balance between the two seems to be the greatest challenge.

Arcano now owns this Dark castle of death, as part of Vampire's custom, the kills of his first victim's must remain where they are, Hundred's of years have passed since then, now they are nothing but bones and dust filling an empty and dreary castle, he now looks for new prey to entertain his desire for his needs, He supposes he'll start, at the Park.

Powers

Where do I even begin?

Vampire's Gaze: Simply looking into Arcano's eyes can put a victim into a trance, regardless of gender, its more of a hypnotism than it is mind control, but either way, its just a way for him to get closer at his victim's neck.

Truthful Whispers: Arcano can make someone tell the absolute truth to him, give him their darkest and most personal thoughts if he's either hypnotized them, or bitten them once before, regardless if they have become a vampire or not.

Shadow Step: Arcano can literally teleport himself instantly into shadows, whether it be the shadow created by an object or a person, it doesn't matter, never try to hunt a vampire at night.

Swarm of Bats: Seems a little Cliche, but yes, Arcano can morph his body into a large swarm of bats, whether its used as a means of escape, or to take down a vampire hunter, or even simply to be unseen in the night sky.

Blood Regeneration: If Arcano is ever physically hurt, all he has to do is drink a little blood to return his body to normal, he has a wicked healing factor, Even if he loses a limb, all he needs to do is drink, and is immensely hard to kill because of this fact, especially if there are plenty of victims to pick off.

Demonic/Angelic Wings/Flight: Arcano has six pairs of wings, that's right!, he has twelve wings that he keeps hidden, somehow, only bringing them out when he needs to, all looking like angels wings, but the feathers are as black as night, and they sheen like glass. However despite this, he can only keep maintained flight for a few hours or so.

Shrinking: He can shrink prey that he has touched, that doesn't mean he can shrink himself, its mostly for personal reasons that he uses this type of magic, but doesn't mind a small snack here and there to satisfy himself.

Vampiric Speed: His movements are usually graceful and practically flawless, that is until he needs to be on the move, he can move faster than the human eye can track, maybe even faster than that, there is no telling how quick, because no one has been able to hit him, or live to tell the tale.

Vampiric Strength: As with most Vampire's their strength is incredible, even more so in Arcano's case, being an Elder Vampire, he can crush stone and steel effortlessly in his grip, and tear through metal like cardboard, although stronger metals like Titanium, might take a lot more effort.

Telekinesis: He can move practically any physical object with his mind, to the extent of a large room, and everything in it.

Telepathy: He has the ability to read the minds of those he makes eye contact with, however he can only read their minds if they are weak minded, or their heads are practically swimming, if they are hypnotized or bitten, he can probably read their minds anyways.

Mirror Teleportation: Arcano has no reflection in a mirror, however, a mirror to an Elder vampire isn't a mirror at all, its practically a portal to any other mirror that they have visited before, that is just big enough to fit them, making it quite difficult for pursuers to follow, when the vampire they are chasing winds up dissapearing, relaxing at home two thousand miles away, and even then, the Vampire can see what is on the other side of his mirror, meaning he could have visited a home in Brazil with a mirror, and be in his castle, and pull them inside of his castle for a quick bite to eat, However, if the mirror is shattered, he can't use the same mirror again.

Elemental Manipulation: Arcano can control various elements to his will, Water, Fire, Earth, and Air, however he can only manipulate what is already there, he can't create it, thankfully there seems to be plenty of earth and air around most of the time.

Weaknesses

As an Elder Vampire, some weaknesses for normal vampires become irrelevant, or worse, depending on each one.

Cannot step on holy ground.

Stakes can't kill Arcano, they will stun him though for a few moments.

Crosses do not work unless the user has absolute faith in it.

Decapitation will halt him for five minutes, until it bloodily oozes back onto his head, kinda creepy.

Burning doesn't work either, being able to control elements and such, that is unless his head is gone, which is hard to do.

Holy Water hasn't changed, still burns the skin like acid!, however, in Arcano's case, it doesn't seem to go any further than muscle.

Garlic doesn't work... just no...

Blessed objects can also harm Arcano, from swords to bullets, to anything blessed by a priest, has about the same effect as burning though, unless they were forged in holy water.

Sunlight, Direct sunlight can turn Arcano into dust in a manner of an hour, however, thankfully the mortals invented something called Sunscreen, it works wonders.

Vampire's Bonds

As an Immortal, Arcano is bound to a set of Bonds, even more strict since he is an Elder Vampire.


Cannot Cross Rivers, Bridges, or Oceans without permission.

Cannot enter a home unless Invited, If a Vampire IS invited into a home, they have no weaknesses inside of that home until it is empty, rendering those who invited the vampire, powerless, the vampire may also revisit that home at any time.

Vampires Have no reflection, and don't show up in video's or photo's.

Must sleep in a coffin, however Arcano only needs to rest once a week.

Blood Linking

As an Elder Vampire, Arcano can actually choose which victims can become vampires as he drinks them, they may not even be infected at all unless he chooses so, and even if he does, the scary part of that is, he can choose various other undead things to transform his victim's into.
