There's a reason people usually double-check shadows, make sure they've locked up, and try to stay within range of lighting at night. Aranael likes to think that she's that reason.
Obviously, she's a spidergirl... and a rather hefty, massive one at that. She loves to throw her weight around, eschewing web-traps for pinning and smothering her prey before globbing them up in gooey silk. It's more fun that way, for her, and usually the only webs she creates are the massive ones she uses as nests once she's cleared a house or apartment of tasty victims.
Not that she devours all of them for sustenance. If she finds one that's particularly obstinate, she likes to suck them into her womb and warp their bodies into spidergirl slaves, destroying their minds and making them subservient little hunters to go catch more prey for her.
People hunt her all the time, but no one ever manages anything. The closest anyone got was a fire team storming into her occupied lair with a flamethrower. Unfortunately for them, body armor didn't do much against webbing. She still has their skulls decorating that particular nesting place...
As a spidergirl she has a few rather obvious arachnid skills, including the aforementioned webbing, which usually comes out wet and thick in her case, sticky and slimy and altogether rather difficult to fight against. Her abdomen is massive, and she likes to vore folks right up her spinnerets or anus, trapping them within that huge squishy dome, though oral vore is still viable. She bites, too... injecting victims with paralytic venom so they can watch everything happen without resistance. She can also hairvore, and she does like smothering her chosen prey into oblivion!

Also, here's a nice little diagram of her making a spidergirl! Yay! She usually does this to females, and males are the ones that get eaten. It's worth mentioning that one -is- able to befriend her without being horribly devoured, but it's very difficult to get past the 'food' label... and even then you'll still probably be eaten!
