Aramu was created, by whom she doesn't know, as the result of a genetic experiment.
She is a breeding slave. She is easily impregnated, comes to term within two weeks, and it is extremely difficult to cause her to miscarriage. She can not tell, if asked, how many times she has been pregnant or what has happened to most of the children she's borne. The number could as easily be zero as in the thousands, as she is loathe to discuss the subject and even she doesn't know her actual age. If impregnated, the offspring will be a mix of normal human and whatever the species of the male DNA. She can not reproduce others like herself.
Aramu is capable of consuming whole and digesting any creature less than double her size. She can not reform those she eats, and thus tries to avoid eating them at all. Unfortunately, since she can not survive on normal food, her options are troublingly limited. If herself consumed, she regenerates entirely from any leftover fragment of DNA unless magically or technologically prevented.
Aramu is currently the property of Silverwings, having been purchased by him at a slave auction. (Non-canon)
