A bit of a backstory:
Aqua was just like any other 18 year old girl out in the world. She loved to go out and hang with her friends, see movies, meet potential partners...although she and her friends never did see eye-to-eye on those matters since she found herself more attracted to the women around her than the males. Truth of the matter was that Aqua had never been attracted to males from the very moment she was old enough to develop a crush on someone. Even when she was younger her kiddy-crushes were all women, usually her teachers or instructors.
Aqua's town though, was a town of micros. There were literally micros of all species living there, the town having been a peaceful place for them to reside, far from the reaches of the outside world and the "Big People" as the citizens called them. But Aqua had always dreamed of what it might be like outside the town's walls and what the other people might think of her being so small. She even had a few morbid fantasies that she never really expected to live out....that was until "The Day" happened. At least, thats what she had come to call it.
One day after class, Aqua decided that she was going to venture out beyond the boundaries of all that she knew and was familiar with. She got into her mothers car and said she would be back by 10:00 P.M. not really thinking that it would be much of a problem. So it took her about thirty minutes to reach the outskirts of town and once she got there, she noticed the paved road stopped and gave way to nothing but hard, cracked ground and a seemingly massive expanse of land beyond. Obviously Aqua had her doubts at that point about if she really wanted to leave the sanctity of what she had always called home....but then again, she had noticed a rather odd-looking object no more than two-hundred yards away, and it was obviously not made in her town! It was much too large! So, cautiously, she stepped from her moms car and began to approach this object, taking note that it appeared to be a sort of necklace with an odd jewel embedded in a pendant on the golden chain.
It was only when she had reached the object that she noticed the jewels oddities even more. It didn't really have one specific color, but seemed to glow brightly with many different colors at once in a chaotic manner. Now obviously one shouldn't mess with things that are strange, let alone glowing, but Aqua was a curious fox and her yearning to touch the object overpowered her logic. As one can imagine...nothing she could have ever expected happened when she touched the strange jewel. The moment her finger made contact with it, her world went white...and that is all she can remember about "The Day".
When she awoke, she wasn't sure if it was the same day, or several days later as the scenery and the weather had changed. It was a cloudy grey sky that now hung over her head and all around her massive trees loomed like sky-scrapers. She was in a forest, and she was completely and utterly lost. From there, she remembers wandering around aimlessly for hours on end with still no sign of the outskirts of her town...or any other town for that matter, and she had become very thirsty as well. Luckily she came across a lake not even ten minutes later and she hurredly ran to the shore to get a drink of water. It was here Aqua learned of an effect the jewel must have had on her, for as she dipped her hands into the water she suddenly felt empowered, and the water, as if responding to her very will, rose until it was at mouth level and then slowly pushed its way into her mouth, allowing her to drink at her leisure. Needless to say Aqua was quite stunned by this and took about an hours time testing out exactly what all she could do with the water. In the end, she discovered she now had complete and utter control over water and could even bend it into various shapes and forms...even weapons...though she only tried that once.
And now for something thats sure to dissappoint some, but propose a challenge to others. In a month's time, Aqua managed to work her way into The Park and even though she looked a little worse for wear, the girl seemed to be fine. I'm leaving it up to everyone here to try and pry into her mind and learn what happened to her during this month. Have fun! :3
