This is where I can play whatever I want, however I want. I may later record characters I happen to like or am toying with, but that I haven't yet committed to a profile all their own.

-The Other-
The darkness with a thousand forms. The Black Sphere. Void's Angel. These are all possibly names for that which, if asked for a name, refers to itself as "Other". Created when the primordial fact of unbeing, the Void, touched the universe, and was corrupted by it. The Void rejected something made impure by truly existing, leaving the Other to exist in the physical world. It developed great and dread intellect over billions of years, left entrapped by the workings of the universe that had no desire for it to be consumed by a being that only desired the chance to return to its "mother". However, some fool has broken the seal that time forgot, and allowed the Other to roam free once more.
True to its first epithet, the Other can take many forms, and can even be many creatures at once - but in truth they are of one mind. And true to its /second/ epithet, the Other's greatest form is the Black Sphere, a gleaming orb that grows ever-larger, dissolving everything it touches and tainting the lands around it with decay. However, it also can take on forms like small shambling shapes of black, or even perfect guises one might mistake for a normal demon, even those that themselves can be mistaken for a normal human. Most insidious of all is when the Other seeds someone with the Black Dream, injecting them with a small measure of itself to give them tremendous destructive power... in exchange for their inevitable corruption and becoming part of the Other.
