Personality
Shy, nervous, and anxious are three words that would accurately describe Aphra. She's generally more introverted but has been taking steps to be around other people more often, whether it's working at her job at the tea shop or actually trying to date a bit.
She's pleasant to be around and a bit too trusting for her own good when it comes to people she gets to know a little bit, though she does keep a barrier up around strangers. As far as how she is in private, the axolotl tends to be fairly submissive, asking for approval before following through with anything intimate.
Abilities
Mild Regeneration: Axolotls are known for their ability to self heal. It's extraordinary, sure, but it isn't anything too fantastical. Limbs can come back in a matter of weeks, and damaged organs can be repaired. Smaller injuries that would take days to fix heal in hours, but that's about the extent of it as far as t goes. Naturally, the axolotl has to be in good condition for any of this to to take place. That means plenty of sleep and a well-balanced, filling diet.
Background
Aphra doesn't have a tragic backstory, troubled childhood or anything of the sort. She's always been sort of average. She was raised in a small rural town, went to school like everyone else, then went to a community college where she had middling grades and got a two-year degree before moving off to live on her own as best as she could. She had a few close friends while growing up, but they've drifted away for the most part, having moved out of town and she wasn't really close to anyone in her various college courses.
Currently she works at a local teahouse, as a full time employee and assistant manager, learning what there is to learn about small business management during the slower hours, while spending most of her time at the counter serving and selling fresh brewed tea and assorted baked goods.
