Backstory:

Anna Kozlowska the Cursebearer has always wanted to be an adventurer, to defeat monsters and to protect her known world. When she was 10 years old, her hometown got caught in a war between humans and demons. She has managed to escape, but both of her parents have perished. After escaping, she has moved to a large city, and applied for a position in the military. Then it was found out that she has great potential for using magic. On one mission, she was captured by a demon, and got an offer - she would gain the power of the demons, at the cost of having to eat living prey once in a while. She has accepted the offer, and used her newfound strength to slay her captors and eat them. The rescue squad has found her asleep with a bulging belly, just in time to save her from demonic reinforcements sent to kill her. Now she is an adventurer, searching for tasty monsters to eat without feeling guilt, for threats to her country to eradicate them, and for arcane knowledge.
