After losing a bet to Keiko_Vixen, she vowed to collect souls for the Vixen in exchange for her life. Unfortunately, when the deadline came, she'd not manage to collect a single soul and so she was forced to pay the price as she was devoured and digested alive. Her soul forever trapped inside one of her tails.

Anybody that grew up with Anna could tell you that she was different from most children growing up. White hair and pale skin wasn't exactly common in grade school. Even with her physical appearance aside, she was very mature for someone her age and was far more familiar with how the world worked. However, the one thing that really set her apart from the others was her bizarre ability to see spirits.

From as far back as she remembers, she has always had the ability to speak and interact with all things spiritual. Whether it be ghosts, divine creatures, or even negative energy. However, despite her very morbid ability, one would find that she is in no way ill spirited or dark in personality. On the contrary, Anna is perhaps one of the most innocent and caring people that one would be able to find in the park.

Once out of grade school, she decided it would be best to find a career that would make use of her unusual talents. Finally, she settled on being a mediator between the living and the dead. Passing on final wishes, asking knowledge to the location of a lost heirloom, solving unsolved murders, etc. She also makes a bit more money on the side by taking on more unusual and difficult jobs such as getting rid of evil spirits but the use of exorcism, purification, or even devouring it.
