Some are born to greatness, some achieve greatness, some have greatness thrust upon them. Amy is in the last category and as of yet has not decided what to do about that.

Amy King is one of the many metahumans emerging in the world and her powers have awoken but recently with her eighteenth birthday and while quite cool she's yet to think through how they factor into her life. Thus most of the time she's dressed for hanging out with friends or going to college as opposed to wearing something tight and improbably brightly coloured. Not to say she wouldn't look decent in such an outfit however as at the age of Eighteen Amy King has a modestly sexy and semi athletic build to her that while not overly volumptous would certainly fill out your average neon catsuit and was gained through a combination of good genes and a year on the cheerleading squad that ended a few months back. And she compliments this figure nicely with a pretty face and neck length red hair.

As a person Amy's interests are eclectic enough to keep her from fitting firmly in any particular clique at college. Amy combining at least a half dozen music styles, various genres of literature and an equal ability to play D & D and indulge in the local LARPing events or spend time gossiping or clubbing.

And now we come to her powers that manifested first late on her eighteenth birthday though thankfully without arousing anyones suspicions, least as far as she knows. Amy's powers focus on manifesting some form of repulsion energy that she has mastered two means of using this. The first is by far the most enjoyable and exhilerating one and that is by pushing against her surroundings with diffuse repulsion she can achieve flight without tiring herself out at all. The method she uses to achieve flight however has the odd repercussion for her flight characteristics that as she has to push off something to achieve movement her top speed increases the closer to the ground she is or the more buildings are around her.

Considering Amy's thus far flown at night to avoid attracting too much attention and her best speeds are achieved in highly built up areas it was lucky that she proved capable of instinctively unlocking her second power during an inevitable collision she had at high speed with a brick wall. Amy's repulsive force if focused into a thin but intense bubble around herself can act as a powerful if somewhat taxing forcefield which she first manifested during said collision, meaning that she survived while the wall did not.

Lastly on her powers it should be stated that in addition to tiring herself out she has a second weakness she is unaware of, her repulsive force only becomes physically effective once it's propogated through at least an inch of space relatively close to her skin. And if you don't know what that means here then you're in the wrong chatroom.

Amy can be played as herm when the whim takes me.
