Amy was minding her own busness when she met the 12 year old Gamine, after short while the 12 year old asked is she could eat Amy, but Amy told her off, shortly while after Amy saw another woman offering herself as a meal and she enjoyed being Gamines meal she basicly made Amy jelous of her. Too make long story short, when Amy met Gamine again she set out to fix her initial mistake, by offering herself to Gamine. Amy was surprised how much she enjoyed being consumed by the 12 year old that she decide to turn off her regneration powers and allowed Gamine to collect her permenetly.

Ps. If you ever cross path with Gamine, just make sure you don't make same mistake as Amy by turning Gamine down. You might endup regreting it.

Amy's was Time Lady, which meant she can travel any where in space and time. She's in her late-20's (in looks). Exact date of birth and age is unknown. Amy has no recollection of her parents as they perished in "The Last Great Time War". She was only an infant, at the time of death of her parents. She was saved from order 46 by a mysterious Time Traveler called The WHO that brought her up as her granddaughter. He taught her all about the biological function, of her race. That allow her to change and alter her cellular structure of her body to avoid fatal injury. Amy refers to this biological function of her body as regeneration. Amy discovered when she was about 13-16 year old that she could do lot more with this talent than just avoid potential fatal injury. More on that later. The WHO also taught her basic principle in Time Travel when she was about 15 year old. When she was around 20 years old she had built her very own Time Machine. In-steed of Black Box, which was the preferred time travelling method of THE WHO, her very own Time Machine was mobile called TARDIGRADES allows her to travel any were in time and space.
