Size: Varies, roughly 20-30 feet from vine tip to vine tip when she stretches. (She is twenty feet on land tall and thirty feet long in water due to her vines adding to her length. )

Weight: She is strong but surprisingly light for her size, allowing her to move very quickly and quietly.

Movement: Hundreds of roots act as legs

Amethyst Rose (self-named, as she was abandoned as a seedling) is a full-carnivorous/full-hunter plant.

Physiology:

Her body usually stretches at twenty feet tall. Unlike "half-hunters", that is plants who have been hunting for their food for less generations, her kind is no longer green and no longer has roots, at least not in the ground.

Instead her roots, able to bend in three ways, are used to propel her, both on land and in water, as well as climb. Working like the legs of a centipede, except more dense, stronger, and even disposable, they can make her massive body move at amazing speeds and with grace.

Above her roots/legs is her main stem, the widest and thickest part of her body. It contains hundreds of organs, spread all over, redundantly, and protected by thick, flexible, bone-like plant-wall. She does not have hearts, lungs, stomachs, etc, like an animal, but has the equivalent, save for a lot spread all over her body, which can regenerate quickly.

Since she has no bones, she can slink down to within about a foot or less to fit between things, and her vines can squeeze down to inches to grab something. Her many, smaller organs help with her lack of bones to make her very flexible.

In overall shape, her body is like a Swan's, and she walks with a certain sway, to let others of her kind know how fertile she is. Her four-foot maw is more oval-diamond then a sphere, not really flat, but almost like the mix of a swan's beak and a venus flytrap's maw. Her base stem, just above the roots, which are protected by a *ring* of bark-like cells, each with lots of splinters, protects her roots and her largest organs, which include her main stomach used to digest prey the size of racoons and above.

She digests prey by turning it into bloody/pink soup in her belly and sucking it into her purple-blood stream. She can burn the fuel with thousands of lung-like structures, which let her "breath" a nearly endless variety of air and liquids around her. This has allowed her kind to spread all over many universes, since they can use magic to evolve and travel. They are very territorial and vicious however, so their numbers are nearly endless, but very thin.

Hunter and near-hunters are divided into breeds, and then species, with almost endless variety like colors on a rainbow. Each can diverse widely, from some with green-fur camouflage, to others with white-scales in the snowy waters, and sandy-amphibian skin which could make sand or mud cover it. Her own kind has pink, violet fur that feels like the soft parts of feathers.

Leaves have been changed to broad, wings and fins. Her kind is known for gliding through air and water. The roots are made for swimming, as most worlds full hunters travel in are mostly water. Primarily aquatic, her kind uses these leaves mostly as fins, the hundreds of vines propelling it through the water like tens of hundreds of under-water oars all over her body. She can then smooth out her body in the water, uses her hundreds of roots to propel her through even faster. These roots act as hundreds of spinners, and the vines oars, to allow the plantess to shoot through the water with the elegance of an eel, yet at the same time darting faster then a hummingbird.

She can leap almost like a bird into the air, using her hyper-evolved physiology and her magic, which can heat the air around her, to jump almost a mile into the air and then glide on her same "wings" *the same vines used as oars*.

Her physiology is based on a long evolution of simple parts. Basically she is all stems, vines and cilia. Her three base stems are her main (carrying her blood/breather mains and mains stomach surrounded by hundreds of lesser versions of the same organs), neck (swan-like and malleable like a snake, it carries her main throat(s) *she has dozens of them* and last her maw, which has six-rows of retractable steak-knife like teeth, likewise the densest path sensor-fur and tongue-cilia.

Her second feature are her vines, which are used to grasp, move, dart and cut. She can create little bark-skinned darts full of poison-hormone spores, to shoot into her prey or foes. Also retractable are thousands of needle sized cilia-blades, which can be used to slice off limbs or into vital organs. She has hundreds of these, though most are only a few inches long (thousands), followed by ones up to a foot long (hundreds), a foot to six (tens of dozens) and then those ten feet long or more (a little over a dozen.

Her fur acts very much like sensors, they can detect light, sound, heat, electrical activity, and even mental activity. Amethyst_Rose is basically a psion. Since the pink fur covers her entire body, it means she has very acute senses used to detect her prey in perfect detail over very long distances.

Life Cycle and Fertility:

The males of her species are nearly infertile, with crab-like blue shells, and black fur. They are shaped differently too, stockier and much larger. They also smell really bad to the females for the most part.

Simply put, what causes them to not eat the pink females of their kind is utter desperation. They simply cannot reproduce on their own, whereas a plant like Amethyst is super-fertile, able to fully reproduce on their own, and bare hundreds of thousands of offspring at a time. This makes them extremely prized amongst their kind, and even others, as they can literally bare an endless variety of young by mixing their dna in vast numbers.

Being lucky enough to mix dna or essences with them means that one's kind will exist in the thousands, perhaps even psychically linked. This pretty much makes them a super-organism capable of travelling dimensions with ancient magick.

Mostly this is done by creating egg foam from meaty-pink and violet flowers, which are full of vicious, near microscopic (about a tenth the size of a flea) sapplings, which will immediately start eating each other and the egg foam once being poured out the flowers. The same saplings also saturate the blood, and stomach, and are in fact what break down the prey like trillions of little biting mouths, which can then be re-absorbed (basically eaten) by Amethyst at will. This re-absorption is done by heating her blood with magick, so that they *pop* and turn into essences her aura can assimilate, to feed her pink, swan-like body.

After being planted somewhere, the egg foam will slowly coalesce into a much larger, pink-translucent egg, with the saplings eating each other until there is one left. After hatching, the hatchling/sapling will then eat any nearby eggs or smaller hatchlings, or roughly one or too dozen if the area is saturated, so that it can rapidly grow enough to hunt on its own.

Afterwards the hatchling will feed on whatever it can find, until it is large enough to use its magicks to travel between worlds and then dimensions. At this point, it is able to very much lay its own eggs, starting the life-cycle in new territories.
