Welcome to the Ambrosia Ranch~! Please partake of our many exquisite goods.
~Message from management
The Ambrosia Ranch is a large plot of land that is located well outside of a somewhat large rural town, one of the few establishments to have taken the time to clear away the dark forests of the region to open up land for building, farming, and ranching though you won't find many individuals who speak about the ranch outside of the local tavern. Ambrosia's big claim to fame is when a wagon or two will roll into town bringing the ranch's bounty from the past year which includes but is not limited to casks of mead, bottles of honey, milk, nuts, 'exotic' fruits, and bottles of vintage wine. All of which have a wide variety of alchemical and magical uses considering they are all the product of a variety of fey livestock living on the ranch.
The idea of utilizing fey as livestock has long been considered an unusual prospect at best or a dangerous one at worst but Ambrosia Ranch feels differently, especially considering the advantages. It isn't taboo, because how else could they produce such a wide variety of goods in an area that is much too small to support so many different industries? Why else would the customer base consist almost entirely of those with mystic proclivities? These aren't the kind of goods you waste on mundane purposes!
Obviously you could add a bit of Thriae honey to your tea or slip sheepgirl wool into a pillow...well...maybe not that first one but the point is this produce can be used for much, much more than mundane uses! This is why Ambrosia Ranch deals exclusively in barter and not monetary payments, accepting enchanted goods in return for its exquisite produce ensures a better chance of such items ending up in the proper hands...and is also quite profitable to be fair.
As such it comes as no surprise that the entire ranch is surrounded by a tall fence of enchanted silver that keeps fey and demonic intruders out and the livestock in with prospective employees or special buyers meeting with the owner of the ranch at the quaint little two story farmhouse in the middle of the property. Some other notable features on the grounds include a large barn, a cranberry bog, a surprisingly large chicken coop, what would appear to be a guest cottage, and at least three different fruit plots. Definitely an expansive operation and one designed to keep the sentient livestock content.
After all, unhappy livestock makes for poor product and Ambrosia has quite the reputation to uphold! And the ranch owner welcomes any who question the legality of the ranch or its methods to come by and visit, anything to assuage their concerns about mistreatment or abuse!
So what kind of fey lives on Ambrosia Ranch? ...lets just leave it at 'lots' and let it go at that, otherwise one could be here all day.
Basic Rules of the Ranch:
1. Interaction with the livestock is encouraged! Ambrosia Ranch strives to be safe and part of that includes letting visitors meet the fey livestock under the right supervision to get to know how the ranch operates.
2. Do not accept any gifts from the livestock. While generally happy and passive, they are still fey.
3. Do not use nicknames or titles with the livestock. Again, fey. Names have power if intended to or not.
4. The house hob and the scarecrows are to be obeyed without question. They handle the majority of work on the ranch, they know if you are in the way.
5. If one hears a ringing bell, they should go to the farmhouse with all due haste. This rule supersedes rule four.
6. All visistors must either be in their rooms or off of the property by night fall. Trade secrets are very important and must be kept.
7. Do not remove the collar off of any fey wearing one. Getting caught attempting such an act is grounds for immediate expulsion from the grounds or WORSE. The collars have many purposes no matter how uncomfortable they may be.
So long as these simple rules are followed have a lovely time at the Ambrosia Ranch~! Looking forward to seeing our valued customers either on Market Day or coming to visit, don't be strangers~.
Did any of the above seem suspect or slightly suspicious? Maybe even a slight hint of sinister? If so, congratulations! The Ambrosia Ranch is clearly not what it seems to be on the surface and knowing it isn't is a great first step to survival.
Yes, survival. The Ranch is, to put it simply, not a ranch. It is a prison for an assortment of fey creatures that proved dangerous or somehow broke pacts the fey had made with mortals, often times centuries before the current day. Every non-human occupant of the Ranch, except for the house hob, the pixies, and the scarecrows, are dangerous criminals in some fashion or another that preyed on mortal, fey, and demonic kind alike before they were captured and bound to serve on the 'ranch'.
Yes, all of them. No matter how nice they may act or helpless they seem, they all are dangerous inmates and should be treated as such. Some of them have literally preyed on others while others 'only' did so mentally or spiritually. All of them are perfectly happy to do so again if they can get away with it, even if they are (mostly) content with the lives they've built on the ranch. More than one noble liberator or errant thief snuck onto the grounds with shady motives only to be coerced into helping some of the livestock to never be seen again. Sometimes, unfortunately, it happens to employees as well though the master of the house does her best to ensure this doesn't happen.
Every single occupant of the farm, barring the scarecrows, is capable of drugging, mind-controlling, or enchanting others and it can be quite difficult to keep one safe. The collars keep some of the more...rowdy inmates in line while the enchanted bells on some collars will begin to ring if the wearer is acting with sinister motives or disobeying orders. Several fey can't leave the areas they live in. Some areas are simply off-limits to visitors. The Ranch employees do their best to keep people safe, they really do but the magical agreements and pacts that hold the Ranch together and keep the inmates in line have slowly been wearing thin over the generations and it seems most of the occupants of the ranch are aware of that to some degree. The only truly safe individual is the ranch owner who knows a variety of trigger words and spells to keep her livestock in line and also has the final say on how to punish the livestock if they get too wild.
FAE
So..what kind of fey can be stumbled upon? All of them are female for one and usually look quite feminine with animal, plant, or fey features that betray their otherworldly nature in some way but most people prefer to know the specifics. Well...here's some of the more notable denizens...
Bobbin, the House Hob, she's the second in command of the ranch. Like all house fey, she came along to look after the house and the family that lives in it several generations after the home was built and considering she's resistant, if not outright immune, to the long-term effects of other fey, she's ideal for handling day to day business. Aside from issues with livestock, she cooks, cleans, and can call down fire and lightning so long as its in defense of the ranch. Looks wise she can be a bit peculiar..shorter than average with bat-like ears, Bobbin also possesses long side burns and a thick coat of fur along the back of her arms and along her legs. Loyal to a fault and incredibly capable.
The scarecrows, the security force of the farm can definitely be...unsettling to most people. Not fey but certainly not human, they are incredibly strong and agile, can take far more punishment than tough warriors, and can use the scythes strapped to their back to subdue or to slay. So where do they come from? Well...other fey occasionally try to steal onto the farm either to break out one of the inmates or attempting to take it over for themselves. When such intruders are caught by Bobbin or the scarecrows, as opposed to dominated by an errant inmate, its up to the house hob to make a call. Does the intruder become another inmate and all that entails? Or, if they are female, are they transformed into a scarecrow? That's right, each and every scarecrow used to be some wicked female fey but wasn't dangerous enough that they couldn't be permanently dealt with. The scarecrows are all a bit on the plump side and tend to be well endowed in the chest but aside from their ragged state of dress, they look like ordinary humans except for one un-nerving details. None of them have eyes...instead they have silver buttons for eyes. They can see perfectly fine and are incredibly nice but those eyes are...unsettling for most people.
The Thriae are a race of agressive and territorial wasp-women that are well known to invade entire towns or cities for the insults of a single person, enslaving every single person they can get their hands on. Cruel and expansionists at their core, the thriae are always keen to expand their collection of honey drones and are a waking nightmare for those who live close to them...nevermind if one finds they close to a whole hive of them. The ranch has three Thriae imprisoned (Sylvia, Lala, and Tata), which produce the very valuable honey that gets sold on market day. What they did to deserve imprisonment or why their kind (there is a hive of Thriae in the region) doesn't try to rescue them is unknown but more than a few intruders have disappeared into the sisters' clutches never to be seen again. Their addictive honey is only rivaled by the next inmate's milk for the most dangerous substance produced on the ranch, even slight exposure to Thriae honey can prove addictive and unlike the milk one never really gets over honey addiction. Especially if they progress past the first stage of addiction. Sylvia in particular is an alchemical genius and is generally docile on her own but even then employees are advised to not visit with the tricky Thriae unless they absolutely have to.
The holstaur bears the dubious distinction of probably being the most dangerous inmate on the ranch and is also one of the most mysterious. She is one of three original prisoners and no other occupant of the ranch remembers her name except for Bobbin who refuses to enter the holstaur's barn. Most everyone else refer to her as 'the holstaur' or, if they've been chosen to milk her recently, as 'Mommy'. Again, names are very dangerous with fey. The holstaur's milk is probably the most valuable produce the ranch sells but often needs to be heavily diluted before it can be used considering the powerful drug-like effects the spicy milk has. Even just smelling it can dull the mind and senses and the holstaur is incredibly patient and very clever in getting people to full under the sway of her massive udders. It doesn't hurt that the silver-haired woman is absolutely gorgeous with gracefully curving bovine horns and a cow tail betraying her fey nature...and the udder sprite's massive rack, of course. Due to how dangerous she is, the holstaur is the only occupant (at the moment) of the barn. One is advised not to feel bad or fear that she is lonely though, that's how Mommy takes the first step towards claiming someone. She is one of two known inmates to wear enchanted bells, if one hears it ringing it means someone is dire need of help.
Brigitte the alraune is the prisoner that tends one of the orchards, primarily the one that produces the aptly named 'prisoner fruits'. Large and very juicy fruit, prisoner fruit removes the eaters sense of shame and gives their sexual stamina a frankly monstrous boost. A single fruit can leave someone ready to go for an entire day and the effects are difficult to dilute. Does someone have glowing pink hearts swimming in their eyes? They got into Brigitte's harvest. Speaking of, the Alraune is a relatively tame prisoner compared to some of the above and is rather safe so long as one doesn't enter into her flower with her. Of course she is keen on doing just that but, even then, most people return from such an encounter very sticky and dazed but otherwise intact. What happens to the others? Some the alraune keep as 'husbands' or 'wives' to live in her flower with her forever, the others are helplessly digested to enrich her growth. However despite having the ability to leave her flower, the green-skinned beauty rarely desires to and has adjusted to her imprisonment quite well.
Tricin the garden naga runs the property's grape field but is distinctly NOT in charge of the actual creation of wine. In fact she doesn't do much when it comes to tending to the grapes either, that's what the small legion of multi-colored pixies she's hypnotized to obey her desires are for and possibly hints at what she's imprisoned for. The fairies view 'Mistress Tricin' with adoration and are delighted to help her or the owner of the ranch with whatever they need which, in Tricin's case, is tending the grapevines and helping her ensnare any wayward guests that might encroach on her territory. Tricin is a naga in the sense that a dusky-skinned female body changes into a long serpent tail somewhere around her waist and this tail is adept enough to wrap around potential prey and hold them fast while the scintillating hue of her eyes pulse the thoughts out of prey's minds. Still, at least one is likely to survive an encounter with Tricin unless she is in an ornery mood.
Vinifira the vineyard dryad is the one responsible for creating the ranch's wines which...well...are delicious and completely harmless. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with sampling Vinifera's vintages and most thieves or visitors are unlikely to stumble upon her abode which is fortunate news...because Vinifera is one of the original inmates and is as dangerous and bewitching as they come. A gorgeous red-headed woman in appearance dressed in elegant clothing, she drips with class and a noble upbringing but most can only focus on her eyes or full, pouty lips...maybe they get distracted by the bottles containing tiny fire sprites in the throes of passion. It doesn't matter how someone loses focus, what matters is once they do...well...there's a reason no tour goes to the wine cellar and the hired help are required to inform at least one other person before going down. Those who don't stand a good chance of not returning.
Obviously there are more occupants on the ranch but these are some of the more notable ones. More may be added as people explore the depths of the ranch, either individuals or species of fey.
Owner of the Ranch: Saniya. When her grand uncle passed away, he left everything to his grand-niece. Why? Unknown.. (Motel 3 3/24/2020)
Former Owners: Well that didn't last long. Sybilia seemed like such a promising owner for the ranch but once Brigitte lured her in, that was the end for the holy warrior. Now she spends her days an empty-headed plant-slut for her new Mistress.
Hello! Player of the alt here just to offer some final words and thoughts. Obviously this alt isn't just a single character and is as much about another character breaking into the ranch, stumbling upon it, or visiting it just to see what sort of fun, sexy adventures can be had! Along those lines, most of the time sex, vore, or mind control comes up there is a very real chance of a 'bad end' coming about such as being devoured, brainwashed, or transformed in some capacity. It doesn't have to be permanent by any means, I just like the 'finality' that such things can bring about so don't worry about messaging me.
Obviously this alt is more inclined to be on the domme/pred side of things but it isn't always obvious at first glance. The prisoners are NOT always upfront about their sinister designs and some of them are quite capable of pretending to be submissive or prey just to turn the tables. If that's not your cup of tea, just say so! If you're actually looking to be dominant or predatory, that's fine too but I'm not always in the mood for such on this alt so don't be super surprised if I decline such scenes. I'm pretty happy to just chat with people about ideas too considering this is less a traditional character or group alt and more a location where one adventures and what happens depends on what one does and where one goes. Male, females, and most in between are all welcome, I'm trying to be more open to guy partners after meeting some wonderfully nice and sexy guys on here but that can be difficult so just bear with me.
I think that covers all the important things...so yeah, hope to talk to you soon! And if you think you have a picture that suits one of the named fey or a picture suited for a new fey, feel free to message me or drop me a PUB, I'd love to make this profile a bit more visual so its not all just in my head anymore.
The fey, when hungry, aren't interested in letting prey get away.
