Willow is a veteran scout Amazon of the Swamp_Tribes. A group of mysterious and zealous amazons that make their homes deep in marshy river deltas of the isles. Swamp tribe amazons are well known for being quite... strange, even by Amazonian standards. Some say it’s due to stress from the constant predation they face, others say it’s from them breathing in too much swamp gas. Regardless all the amazons of the swamp tribes seem to have a screw or two loose. Yet, even among these amazons Willow is quite the odd ball. The young scout having an almost fanatical love for the natural world. This often has her spending most her time happily running about in the predator infested swamps “playing” with the local fauna instead of staying within the safety of her tribe. The scout only returning at night to eat, sleep, make love, and play with her young daughter. This lifestyle has given the Willow an unusually vast knowledge of the local topography and wildlife even when compared to her sister scouts. This has greatly improved the survival rates of amazons within her foraging parties. So much so even the tribe’s shaman has begun to take note and has assigned her to lead even more parties despite Willow’s protests. Even with a pension for nimbly avoiding the guts of hungry predators she is not infallible. On several occasions she has only barely avoided a gurgley fate on luck alone. Some day though that luck will run out and she like every amazon will find herself filling out a predator as a well-earned meal.
