Warfare between Tribes within
The_Amazon_Isles is almost entirely limited to small raids and guerrilla ambushes. These raids are almost always with the express intent of stealing food or capturing members from other tribes. Rarely does battle end in fatality as it would be counterintuitive to the objective of capture. Captured amazons are often taken as slaves. Sometimes for breeding, but mostly as sacrifices for a tribe’s god. Warfare between predators is a different matter altogether. Amazons warriors are capable enough to slay small and sometimes medium sized predators, but any larger predators are generally beyond them. As such, while the tribe is away from the village foraging, the amazons often send out scouts who watch for and alert the tribe of incoming large predators. Sometimes these scouts tend to disappear on the job, either by capture, or in the belly of some predator.
