Alyn is the daughter of an elven king and a random human woman from a nearby village. It was just a fling - and yes, even elven royals can get caught in a weak moment - that lead to her eventual birth.
One day, the girl's mother showed up at court and left her to the care of her father, who knew, that if what happened ever became known to his people, his days as ruler would be over.
He treats her well, but to keep her secret, he locks her up inside the palace, where she has a domicile of her own, a large, luxurious chamber with a bath, and a garden attached to it. And to keep her from getting away, her father doesn't give her anything she could take with her that would be useful outside, like money, more than one set of light clothing etc.
Alyn doesn't really have any friends, maybe just a maid or a pet, but she hasn't had contact with the outside world.
Since she's alone often, Alyn is a bit oblivious of social concepts. She can't handle money or trade, she isn't good at telling when someone tells her a lie. When she's alone, she seldom wears clothes - although she developped a sense of shame when others are around.
Alyn is kind-hearted, but it usually takes some time for someone to earn her trust.
Her age can be set from anything between 8 and 16.

Scene-ideas:
Alyn will usually start in her golden cage. Your character could be a prince or the son/daughter of an ambassador from a oreign land who happens to find her chambers - maybe you can bring a pet (player loves feral preds).
Upon finding her, it's up to you if you want to befriend her - maybe even offer a way to free her - or just take advantage of her.
Another possibility could involve her being sent to another country. Maybe she's supposed to be wed, or maybe her father made a contract somebody to take her away so the secret will always be preserved.
And lastly: Alyn could have managed to flee after all. Who and what can she find in the outside world?
