The deathclaw alpha male is similar to the legendary deathclaw in appearance, but with darker skin. Although not as fierce as the legendary deathclaw, they are still twice as strong as a regular deathclaw, and run much faster. They travel in packs with other deathclaws.
The western counterpart is built for speed for the pack, unlike the wcommonwealth counterpart.
Alpha Deathclaws serve as the protector and also the provider for the pack. Not nearly as strong as a Matriarch but they have more health then them. They can take a hit while dishing out their own.
The commonwealth counterpart is built to be a tank among the pack, unlike the western counterpart.

Alpha Deathclaw - While the sun was setting the deathclaw came across a duckling. Small and frail it peeped like crazy calling out for it's family. The Alpha thought about just swallowing it down with a simple snap but the creature was alone and wiggly. Slipping between it's claws leaping away from it and landing on its head, setting on top of it. For a tiny morsel it gave up trying to eat it. Insteadd it took it home to the pack where it was met with a resounding 'meh' along the pack members. Course the Alpha decided to take care of the little thing, the Alpha's material instintic kicking in. However dispite it's efforts through the night; by morning, the little duckling had passed away and the Alpha was left to mourn for it's loss.
