Alora as a youngling grew up in the mountain ranges, odd enough for someone who is cold blooded to derive from such a hostile cold environment, Yet somehow they managed to thrive, create an empire based off their excellent skills in combat, particularly that of stealth their born and bread assassins, to which Alora was no different.
After the training she was given, Alora found herself in trouble, her sister was murdered by her blade, but not by her hand, the council deemed her a threat, and ordered her to be sacrificed to the goddess. a MASSIVE snake that lives in the deep tunnels of the mountain pass. distraught with grief she obeyed their orders, her body shackled and chained and taken to the cave of the goddess, only their convoy was attacked by a Dragoness Jen_1243 who had made her homestead in the mountains only recently, the confusion brought on by the attack toppled the carriage over that she was being transported by down the side of the mountain. battered wounded and exiled she fled into the forest, to be found almost dead on the side of the road by one Risty_Pinto, a noble woman from a destroyed house Lao, who healed the woman back to health before going their separate ways.
Eventually after the friendly hand of Risty, she thought to try to integrate her life into the humans, each town she visited looked at her with distrust, some even trying to kill the woman in cold blood calling her "beast... and Monster" the girl retreating in tears to a swamp where she made her den. surviving mostly on grapes, and animals that would pass through the swamp. once and a while she would find herself hunted like game, looking to end her life, either ending in the death of the hunter/ess or forcing Alora to flee.
Her fate came to pass, when a Succubus caught wind of her story, aiming to hunt her down, eventually they crossed paths coming onto Alora as a friend, eventually pinning the Naga to the ground with her demonic powers and telling her over and over what she was, (a monster) Fighting back the tears she continued to try to explain to the Succubus that she wasn't, she just wanted to belong somewhere... Eventually the succubus fed up with trying to explain herself broke into a spree of anger, forcing a massive blast of energy onto Alora bending and altering her body, the sound of hissing coming from around her, and in an instant the Succubus that was before her had turned to stone, petrified.
Scared and confused she fled, finding a cave in the same mountains of her birth, only then did she figure out what she really was, as once more people tried to kill her, only to turn to stone. She had became a Gorgon, the Succubus had turned her into a monster, and now, she hides. Her eyes bound closed by a thick leather strap ensuring she cannot see, and thus cannot hurt anyone, her skills as an assassin coming into play as she can sense the smallest vibration in the earth, every tree by its sound. Only using her "power" in self defense, and can only do it if she is looking into the eyes of her aggressor, she is on the quest to learn how to control her gaze, to understand its magic, and maybe one day be able to see the light, and the beauty of the world around her.
