Ollie Franks is a crafty sort of guy that can work his way out of a sticky situation and more than likely put you into one. As one hell of a contortionist and quite the prankster born with a toolbox most would quite literally kill for, the latter becomes apparent fairly quickly.

Tentacles, ink, paralyzing saliva...all one octopus could want. Eight extra arms longer than the ones up top certainly have their applications - ol' Ollie can attest. For personal use, intimate occasions, what have you - the tentacles he sports have many applications. Binding prey, additional limbs (which have "helped" in many a private time), mimicking the stature of other sorts, shifting in color...etc, etc! His tentacles can also regenerate, so this wily soul won't stay down forever.

Most that come across him can't keep him at bay, which usually ends up with a squirming bulge on his frame and quite a bit of satisfaction.

Some come down, unfazed by the rumors and tales from those who never tried to trifle with the bottom dweller, and end up rethinking that descision.

Some even want to succumb to his guts, just hearing the rumors and connecting the dots if anyone "disappears".

It's odd, but when your food delivers itself, you're not one to complain! No goading, nerve dulling, chasing, or baiting needed - just a fine, full meal~

Ollie can actually move quite fast by using jets of water to propel himself through it - it being water. So, it seems one can't even outrun the trickster that lies on the seafloor, or at least most of the time. He does acknowledge someone could come along with a taste for tentacles and then, -GWOOORGL-, out of the picture he'll be, but he has enough in his toolbox to make sure that day stays at least a little ways off.

Ink is a favorite of Ollie's. Perfect thing to spurt out to distract whoever may be hot on his tail, or disorient possible prey. It's a hell of a time when they hit his stomach and just realize where they are. Squirming, pleading...or moaning, any one's a delightful realization for prey to come to.

Sometimes he doesn't even use all he can just to catch a prey; sometimes he uses his talents simply to play around with 'em. No rule against playing with your food on the seafloor, and boy does he take advantage of that! Watching prey squirm at the thought that they'll soon be is a boundless source of entertainment, in contrast to the finite source of food they eventually become.


In short, be sure to watch where you're diving, because if you swear you can see a person on the seafloor, but only tentacles where their legs should be...he's likely already saw you. You better hope he doesn't get tired of toying around with you, because your ship has probaly sank by then.
