Aline hails from an alternate timeline of the Neon Genesis Evangelion universe, as depicted in a tabletop game her player originally RPed her in. So, while the basic details (Angels and Evas are giant monsters, there was a secret organization called NERV, etc.) are the same... and though Aline and the other PCs took over for the dominant roles, they played alongside nearly the entire 'canon' cast... In the end, there are a /lot/ of differences that for the sake of things I won't go into in astounding detail. The game she's from is nearly over and very long-running for what it is, so there is also a /boatload/ of history and development that might not even surface, but I assure you is there.

This is mostly for your information, but it goes multiply for any character that might either ICly have seen the NGE show/movies/whatever, or is actually a canon character from said media. In the case of the latter... unless you'd specifically not want it to happen, Aline will recognize the character (exception: Canonical Angels that aren't Lilith, Adam, Iruel, or Zeruel; Canonical Evas that aren't Eva-02). Just... not as the character themselves is likely to know.

I can also play her in an alternate past of her being a normal pilot, of her own unit that isn't her, etc.

Finally... this is probably the closest I'll ever get to a 'god-mode' character, at least if you allow her access to her Evangelion body, or I make it a /thing/ in-scene. You have been warned.

--=Who Aline Is=--

Before her ascension, Aline could be called one of the "Lucim": The Children of the 0th Angel, Lucifer, and the reborn form of humanity. But Aline was special. She was the very first person to join the Adeptus Evangelion Corps, where the second generation of Evas was being made from willing volunteers. And so, Aline is now the soul and persona of Neo-Evangelion 00, and has since spent the intervening years terraforming worlds and transporting human colonists to facilitate humanity's emergence into the greater cosmos.

How she arrived at Nexus is unknown. Whether she can come and go as she pleases, even less known. But she does appear here, usually in her human guise. Often, if one were to look during the nights when Aline was present, they might even see a 'star' moving across the sky strangely-quickly. This is N-Eva 00, waiting in orbit for the moment that its soul so decides she needs its power.

--=Who Aline Was=--

Aline was the first daughter of Lucien and Celine Blanc, born near Paris, France on January 26, 2000 - nearly 8 months before Second Impact would slay half of humanity and forever change the course of Earth's history. In 2002, she became terminally ill... However, GEHIRN, the forerunner of the counter-Angel organization NERV, provided her parents a clone with the original soul implanted into it, preventing the girl's premature death and letting her make medical history as the first viable human clone. Sometime between 2007 and 2010, the Seed of Life accidentally responsible for creating humanity, Lilith, had its soul taken from its prior vessel (Euginia Ranvier), and split in half. One of the halves was stored in Aline. In early 2014, she was kidnapped by anti-UN terrorists, but upon her rescue, soon was recruited by NERV as the 1st Child, officially making her the oldest Evangelion pilot (though not the first to gain the job - despite her First Child designation, there had been two recruited before her).

Starting in February of 2015, Aline would then fight the Angel War as the pilot of Eva-00, alongside Sera de Pteres (Pilot of Eva-01) and Zhang Yanmei (Pilot of Eva-04). This would go on seemingly as normal for a while, though various incidents would occur. Meeting her future boyfriend Ikari Shinji on 13 February 2015... Absorbing the soul of the defeated Tenth Angel Voriel on 5 November 2015, and being forced to carry him until his bonded mate Gabriel steals him back on 13 October 2017... Gaining a younger sister, Anastasie Blanc, on 10 August 2016... Forced to live for 33 imaginary years in a mental illusion created by the Twenty-Fourth Angel Raphael on 20 September 2017... And then further incidents, ranging from being captured in Italy, to barely evading further captivity in Kenya, participating in the creation of the new Lance of Cassius, and more...

While details are still sketchy (( Read: While the outline is present, the game she's from hasn't actually gotten here yet! )), Aline would eventually join Sera and Yanmei in the final battle for the fate of the Earth, which would end with the unification of Evas 00, 01, and 04 into their fated form of Lucifer, who then reconstituted and sent away Lilith and Adam to find new worlds, became humanity's Seed of Life (thus giving the Ancestors an 8th race of children), and remade humankind into what most other races term the Lucim. Each of the old Evangelions that did not make Lucifer (Who, himself, was merely made of three of the four pieces of Elisha Caine's soul - the fourth being in Sera de Pteres) were able to finally achieve freedom from their lobotomized war-machine bodies if they so desired (Many took that offer), humanity became free from the controlling power of Lilith's Destiny which subtly shifted their thoughts and intentions towards her own aims, and they even gained control over their AT Fields, an ability previously beyond humankind.

--=What Aline's Capable Of=--

-Mundane-

Aline has gathered a number of talents during the harsh crucible of life that is being an Evangelion Pilot. She is trilingual, speaking fluent French (Her native tongue), English, and Japanese, and can also mostly understand ancient Sanskrit writings. She's decent behind the wheel of a car, and rated to operate the UN's VTOL aircraft. Aline is very scientifically knowledgeable, and even has a (quasi-imaginary) doctorate in physics, as well as a more real doctorate in metaphysical biology (A science unique to the Eva-verse, the study of souls), very exhaustive knowledge of her universe's aliens in general and Angels in particular, strong technical knowledge (including a mastery of structural demolitions and explosives-handling), and a firm grasp of a number of other disciplines of science.

Aline is also, given her former occupation, very talented in combat. She specializes in AT Field usage, but is also a very respectable sniper and user of single-operator heavy gunnery. While in the present, she greatly prefers relying solely on her AT Field in Evangelion combat, she will often be seen using a late-generation positron rifle in her human form when it comes time to actually wage war.

-Spiritual/Absolute Territory-

First and foremost, Aline is one of the seven E-Type Eve souls born to humanity. This means that she, even before having ascended to Evangelion-hood, was capable of binding souls within her own, and for a stretch of many years was the vessel for half of Lilith's soul, and for around one year, that of the defeated Angel Voriel. While she certainly hasn't acted on it yet, being an Eve also grants Aline the capacity to eventually become a new Seed of Life in the same vein as Lilith or Adam.

Regardless, though, Aline has control of her AT Field, both as one of the Lucim, and as an Evangelion. The difference in forms is mostly one of intensity, as only a small 'thread' of Aline's soul is actually in her projected human form. In either form, though, she can manifest the primary effect of an AT Field - that of a shimmering orange barrier which repels nearly any form of offense not also supported by an AT Field (Or other very soulful method). However, that is in no way the end of her abilities. All the manipulations she knew as a merely-human Pilot are available to Aline in both forms - teleportation, telepathy, telekinetic force, energy blasts, the formation of a pocket universe of her own making and control, and more besides.

However... grant Aline her Evangelion body, and the energy she can tap upon becomes far grander. Given enough time, she can reshape many aspects of an entire planet (Especially to the point of collapsing its entire ecosystem to be rebuilt from the ground up), teleport over interstellar distances, rend planets and shatter moons... The Evangelions of the Lucim make those of the (false) Lilim look like mere toys.
