Ali Nekomimi is a neko from Ardith Prime, however she is not one of the common Ardithian Domestic nekos, she is from a breed of nekos known merely as "Ardithian Softpaw nekos". They are are the most common type of Non-domesticated Ardithian nekos. They do not have sweet skin and are more agile and physically stronger than the Domestic neko however it is still not strong compared to most types of predators.
The girl under the armour:
she had actually escaped a life of slavery when her village was burned during one of her trips gathering fish at about the age of 8, she'd spent several years in the wild after that until being dropped in an orphanage at 13, four years later she'd joined the GF military as an Airforce as a bomber co-pilot, and had pleasure of unloading a large quantity of bombs, small tactical-nuclear ones, on the slaving camp of her childhood when they attacked a Federal convoy. Since Ali had shown a keen skill with accuracy and technological repairs, and a high interest in flying she'd been transferred to an attack helicopter platoon about 6 months later, at the age of 18, she spent a few runs with them until her chopper was shot down over enemy territory, at the time it was a cell of Radical terrorists called the "Galactic Liberation Army" or GLA, and fought her way back out. since that even she'd been taken and trained to be a commando, specializing in aircraft and long range engagement with sniper rifles, often sent on solo scouting missions
