Alison Musculus is a shy, bookish mouse with a secret, dangerous taste in romantic partners.

Personality
Ali is a bit of a dork. She's timid and unsocial, spends most of her time reading and the rest of it studying. Her body is undertoned and doughy. She's fairly levelheaded and calm, though, for someone so low on the food chain.

She also has perilous taste in men.

Ali is attracted to power, dominance, and danger, qualities that men of her species don't generally have. As such, she's drawn to predators, just as predators are drawn to her. Doesn't matter if the dudes in question have the qualities she's looking for, the very thought that they could eat her alive with no repercussions turns her right on. (As does the actual eating, by extension.) This combined with her lack of social skills makes it hard for her to turn down any advances. A single lecherous glare from a cat or a snake can be enough to turn her brain to mush no matter how hard she tries to resist.

Avoidance is the best policy, naturally, but that's not always possible, and besides, there's nothing wrong with ogling a cute snake from behind her book, right? Just so long as she gets the hell out of there if he notices. Overall, though, she tries to ignore these needs, seeing them as some sort of mental defect.

In the unlikely event a romance with a predator lasts beyond a one-night stand, she'll expect to be teased and nibbled and probably get bored eventually unless there's at least a bit of violence. (And, of course, scared out of her mind to leave him.)

Setting
You could probably transplant Ali into any setting and a scene would work, though she was created with a high school/college campus in mind, and as such libraries, coffee shops or even just dormitories are probably optimal. (And in such cases, I usually cast Jess_Hare as her roommate, as they tend to bring out the best in each other.)

That said, if you want to transplant her into any other world, be it medieval fantasy or the world of tomorrow, go nuts. Generally speaking, though, the player prefers the settings to be ones where predation has no legal repercussions or consequences, and completely free of humans and reformation.

Canon
There is none. You can make up some if you like--multiple-worlds theory, magical reformation with built-in amnesia, whatever. But the official policy of the player is that none of these scenes are in any way interconnected, and you probably shouldn't worry about that.

Human Version
Due to the general trend towards humans in this place, I've created a human version of Ali in a separate reality to better cater to people who are into that. Here's what she looks like:
