Alexis_001
We can't help being what we are, especially if someone else made us. Simple fact of life, that!
Alexis certainly can't help being what she is. Built in the last days of Thar Dalynl's Cataclysm War, she's the only one of her kind... and ain't it a bitch?
You see, she's the prototype. Her programming is incomplete, her data is a few thousand years out of date, and she's not had proper maintenance in years. More than a thousand years, in fact. Still, there's not anyone who can maintain her systems, so there's no use fussing over it.
Designed to be a bodyguard and a safe haven for persons of interest, as well as a containment unit for persons of interest of an entirely different sort(they WERE in a war, after all), Alexis was built big, durable, and quite capable of taking care of herself and others. Fully twelve feet tall, she's more than twice as strong as a human her size would be, with none of the health issues and quite a bit more durability. With long, silky black hair and glowing blue eyes(in which one can see the circuits of her optical units if one looks), she's rather imposing, even as she's rather pretty.
She was built to be someone people could like and relate to, really. As such, she has a fully functional, very human personality, with full artificial intelligence and a powerful processor to help her reach certain conclusions at an incredible speed. She is, by default, friendly, perhaps a bit timid(you only need to break someone once to learn your lesson), and fairly cheerful. The only real issue is her compulsive programming.
See... she's under a compulsion to protect people. Always. People of interest, specifically. However, as her programming wasn't quite completed, and there's no one with sufficient authorization to tell her who, exactly, is a person of interest, she's pretty well fallen back on her own knowledge. Which is to say, if she's interested in someone, they MUST be a person of interest!
Needless to say, this can be a bit awkward. She'll follow someone she decides is of interest for hours, or days, or weeks, or until they get upset at her and wind up upsetting her. However, some people have discovered that she IS, in fact, rather handy to have around! The main issue here, though, is that her compulsion, well, compels her to eat people to keep them safe.
They ARE safe, too! Even if it is a bit cramped. Heavily armored underneath her synthetic skin, Alexis could take an artillery round, or a tank shell, and still function. Her skin disperses kinetic energy, and she's got some technology to help deal with the heat of such an impact as well, while keeping her occupant from being damaged. However, all of this consumes energy, and she's got to get it back somehow.
In her case? She eats other things. Raw minerals in many forms(spears, rocks, etc) are consumed and broken down, used to make things to power herself with or to simply fuel her internal furnace. As well, if she's damaged. her body houses a small colony of nanites that can be remotely activated and deactivated as long as she functions. Given sufficient resources, she can recover from the most grievous of wounds, and maintain herself, simply by being well-fed(one reason she hasn't needed much maintenance, even though so much time has passed).
As for her appearance, Alexis stands fully twelve feet tall, with rather elfin ears sticking out from under her masses of soft, silky black hair. Her eyes are clearly non-organic, glowing pale blue at all times. She's got fairly cute features, for all that she's huge, and her skin is pale, though not sickly. Her figure is that of a mature woman, ample and soft in all the right places, with a key difference. Namely, she has a tail, starting at the base of her spine(or where a spine would be). This is completely black, and seemingly scaled, but soft and supple, sporting a seam along its length. It's fully seven feet long and will drag on the ground(or knock someone over if she turns fast enough).
As for her clothing, she simply wears a stretchy, form-fitting jumpsuit, dark blue in color, with a zipper in the front. There's a hole cut in the back for her tail, though. Why a jumpsuit? It's the easiest thing for her to make or repair.
More later, enjoy this for now.
