Overview
Despite holding a doctoral in both the fields of biology and chemistry, Alexandra (who often calls herself Lexi) seems to behave a little like a bubbly young woman. She's one to follow fashion trends as best she can, have the newest phone that does all of those things besides actually making phone calls, acts as if having a few hundred friends on various social networking systems is the same as being well liked, and generally passes over fads once people she deems to not be elite enough to be on her level embrace them openly. If one didn't know better, they might guess that she was instead a first year college student just waiting for the next party to drink herself into a stupor and let some random jock be her drunken mistake. Of course, when you are dealing with a creature as tricky as a ferret, things are not always exactly as they seem...
History
Alexandra Linson was born to a well off family in one of those towns that seem to only house well off people and the 'help' that serves them. Instead of growing into your basic spoiled brat though she was forced into her studies by both of her parents as neither wanted their child to grow up to be some sort of hippy bum that contributed nothing to the world. Instead of playing about with other children and doing all the silly things that young people tend to do, Alexandra was settled into her home studying any subject that her parents could manage to get their paws on. Math, physics, biology, philosophy, astronomy, and every other ology and onomy that they could come up with (save for "that astrology bollocks"). For their efforts she became the top student in nearly every class all through her years of schooling, going on to take on two full time college loads at once and managing to get both done in less than the normal time span. To say that she was gifted in the realms of biology and chemistry is akin to saying that Beethoven was a pretty alright composer.
By the time she was in her early twenties she had already published a number of controversial papers regarding the possibility of bio-engineering living beings, and how that could be a gateway into solving the problems that a number of sentient beings were faced with throughout their life. It was these sorts of things that caught the attention of a Japanese company by the name of Reiba Corp. The biotech firm wanted to not only give her a chance to prove her various theories correct, but to actually see them benefit the people of the world. And of course turn a healthy profit for the company itself.
Alexandra wasn't the first scientist that Reiba had put towards their team researching genetic splicing and other dangers and despised projects, but she quickly made a name for herself in both natural talent and a willingness to do the dirty work to get her ideas brought to light. They eventually put her in charge of their most daring and promising project, the one that all the research had been working towards. Their goal was to make the perfect living weapon by any means, and Alexandra was the ferret for the job. A number of young Japanese orphans were selected from all over the island country, working at best to get a diverse selection of baseline genetics while still fetching children who simply would not be missed. The ferret herself was involved in every pick up, wanting to see the child first hand before she allowed them into her precious experiment. Little did she know what that could lead too.
Brutal and blunt methods of their early understanding of splicing the genes of differing species lead to the deaths of over half the children within the first wave of experiments, leaving only a handful of anthromorphs of at least three species each who seemed almost shells of the children that were first taken in. The step to follow was some of the most cruel and lethal experimenting the ferret would ever be apart of in her long and questionable career. A captured and shackled succubus was to be melded into one of their super species creations to form a being of unrivaled prowess in nearly all areas, the perfect soldier to be sold to the highest bidder. All but one of the remaining subjects was put through this test, and when they failed they were taken apart bit by bit to discover what exactly went wrong. The final child to be subjected to the horrors of their godplay successfully merged with the tortured succubus who's life was extinguished in the process. All that work finally paid off to a pet project of Alexandra's after studying her various failures, allowing for a shifting in a beings genetic make-up thanks to a specifically designed symbiotic virus, prolonging it's own life through the destruction of old DNA which lead into the creation of new strands in a form of constant evolution.
The pride and joy of her life's work was that first project lead role, creating a being who could nearly not be stopped in any fashion. A shame they didn't realize that it was still the traumatized orphan she had plucked from the populous of Japan years ago, still very much a being of her own mind who had been through enough to snap most beings. The powers Reiba Corp and Alexandra herself eventually allowed her "child" to escape, something that her superiors are unlikely to ever let the ferret forget any time soon.
She was recently purchased at an auction by
Neko_Kim after having been captured and enslaved by feral-rights activists. She now lives with her new Mistress, tending to her needs.
Other Facts
Hyper Regeneration: Alexandra has taken her expertise in dealing with the genes of sentient beings and applied it to her original more noble goals. At least somewhat. She has managed to give herself advanced regeneration that not only fights off most diseases and injuries, but it also has reversed what signs of aging she had developed and has left her in a state of perpetual youth. If there is much of anything left of her at all, she can also eventually reconstitute herself though it does take a considerable amount of time and is by no means a pleasant experience. It is thanks to this change that she has settled into her current more youthful persona, perhaps trying to reclaim her lost childhood.
