Before you sits a quite the delightful little sweetie. It's hard to pin an age to the boy, or even a gender, as he's very feminine in his features, and has a bit of that childhood "pep" so common to boys his age. He looks back at you from behind with big glasses that seem only to make his adorable blue eyes seem even larger. His hair is short and well cared for, having a full look and a nice bounce to it, and it stops just a little beyond his neck. A bluegrass sort of greenish blue, it has a well cared for luster. He's dressed in clothes a few sizes too big, a dressy collared shirt counterbalanced by tight shorts. Is he dressed for some big occasion?

The child is all smiles, and he has reason to be. He's a natural adept, and while his slender frame and soft body don't work well with heavy lifting or "manly" feats like that, he's a magic magnet, able to understand and use magic with ease far beyond his years. Holy, dark arts, he just needs a teacher and the boy catches on impressively.

It was this aptitude that gives him the voracious abilities he has today. One teacher he had encountered couldn't get the spell to work right, and sweet little Alerut picked it up lickity split, and demonstrated the voracious ability right then and there for her! Of course, she didn't really like that, but it was too late by then, and she certainly wound up helping the young mage's... development.
