Complying.... complete.

Of course, there's a problem with erasing data... if someone knows there was data to look for, they will notice it's lack, soon enough! And there's backups, and backups of backups, and backups of backups of backups. At least, with a bureaucracy involved.

The gist of the files in question concerns a particular pilot, and a particular program, which sort of... blew up in people's faces, in a very interesting and non-literal way.

Project Elan was supposed to revolutionize all manner of industry. It was supposed to help solve the global energy crisis, supposed to end war, supposed to save humanity, after a fashion. More immediately, it was supposed to power a new type of mech that would serve for both law enforcement and military applications, as well as smaller variants for mining, demolitions, and other such purposes. It was to be a new golden age... up until things blew up.

The first people to commission one of these machines was the military, of course. A giant war-machine that would be difficult to damage, could gather its own resources and convert them into fuel, and serve on the front line as a morale booster would be a tremendous asset. With that in mind, they put forth a number of candidates to have their minds scanned, and the scans used to produce the artificial intelligence that would pilot this first machine. The one candidate who made the cut, in the end, was a pilot named Sayuri Aldra, and the war machine that was to have a mind like hers was modeled after her as far as appearance. Mind, on a much larger scale, but still.

However... there was something unexpected. As the young A.I was introduced into the neural matrix of the prototype, there was an error of some sort, resulting in a sort of cognitive dissonance in the machine. Somehow... the memories of the pilot whose brain was scanned to make the AI were embedded within it, along with a basic sense of self. However, the prototype was unable to access them with any kind of ease, resulting in a sort of amnesia. The machine panicked, broke the nearest wall apart, and fled. It's not been found since... or rather, she hasn't been found since.

The mech in question is modeled after the pilot named Sayuri Aldra, and may consider itself to have been her at one point. All things considered, this isn't exactly an inaccurate viewpoint. IN any case, it LOOKS like her as well, albeit, as stated earlier, much larger. She's got fair skin, perhaps with an Asian appearance to her, possibly japanese. Hard to say. Her eyes are bright blue, though, and her figure is the same lean, athletic one her counterpart had. As well, her hair comes down to below her shoulderblades. She's wearing a suitably sized black and silver bodysuit, as opposed to the armor designed for her, though its own defensive qualities aren't something to ignore, either. Small arms are useless. If you should encounter her, report to your superiors and try not to catch her attention. She is not armed, but she is BIG enough at one hundred and eighty feet tall that she does not NEED to be to kill you.

As well, do NOT assume she has run out of power. As stated, she can generate her own fuel from raw materials. All she needs to do is consume organic matter and she can produce elan to fuel herself. And don't forget, YOU are organic matter too. As well, be aware that there may be defensive systems at her disposal. Now, this briefing is adjourned. You can get to work hunting her down.

And there you have it. Mecha-girl, by The_Tower. Prolly be updated soonish.

Also, her smaller counterpart is available for play.
